Hotel Chambord

Property is located near the Casino and Tourist Office. Bed was very comfortable, continental breakfast was served in the room as a COVID precaution.

The internet did not work in the room. Reception gave me a story about a Permit, then it was Saturday and then….well it works in the lobby (not fun sitting in the lobby with a mask on). The other issue was the garage parking. We took the hotel so we could have easy parking. However, parking only works for small cars, access to garage is very narrow. We ended up parking in a public lot.

I didn't order breakfast (it costs 10 eur, consists of sweets, pastry and coffee and is served only in the room, because the hotel doesn't have dining area). I asked for an electric kettle and it was provided to me the same day. I liked that room was very spacious and clean, furniture - quite fresh, wc and shower- recently renovated. Very comfortable pillows! I also liked that the room had a balcony and different lighting scenarios. The room had a small fridge. Nice view out of the window: to the city park, small fountain, casino and the Mediterranean see behind it. :)

Mattress cover gave to the bad thad plastic feeling, although mattrass itself was quite comfortable. Also during the summer period beware of mosquitoes: after having a snack and evening tee on the balcony, my legs were covered with their bite spots. Hotel could have warned me about mosquitoes, I guess. Price is quite high for a 3 star hotel, without breakfast and located further from historic city center.

Room with balcony was very nice. Rooms were clean and hotel looked recently renavated, at least on our floor. Our location was fantastic, close to the parade route, shopping and great restaurants in the area. Close to train depot, bus stops etc. Centrally located for the Citrus Festival. Although we didn't use it, the hotel does have parking. Staff was helpful, polite and accomodating

No breakfast area. Continental Breakfast was $17.00E per person for breads, coffee and juice, not meats or cheese. Room was bright and clean but did not have a coffee maker or bottled water offered for the price paid.

Location was excellent as it was close to the station for connecting to Nice airport and the shopping centre. Breakfast delivered to our room was rather nice as the breakfast room was not available. However there was no choice or variety e.g. rolls and croissants with jam and butter, coffee and juice.

Having to ask for a kettle and cups and saucers. As we were staying for a week we expected them to be in the room. Having to pay one of the cleaners to do our washing as she said the hotel didn’t provide this service.

Building has been recently refurbished and renovated and looks really nice inside (could be easily a four star if had larger facilities etc ) I had a deluxe double with balcony facing the main square - double door windows (no noise at all from the street) , large bathroom and room with all right amenities and furniture - rooms were nicely cleaned Underground parking with direct access via hotel lift Very helpful, polite and nice staff at reception and on the floors for cleaning

The room was clean and comfortable. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated. There is no dining room but a very nice, generously portioned continental breakfast can be served in your room. There is an extra, reasonable, charge for this. The location is excellent. It's just a short walk to the casino and seaside promenade. In spite of its central location, my room was very quiet. I'm looking forward to next year's stay.

Very nice hotel! Staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The location is excellent, close to the train station and the central places of the city. Also for 10 euros, you get a nice French breakfast delivered to your room and you can enjoy it on your balcony. Hotel and room was very nicely decorated also. Would recommend and stay again!

You could hear the noise from the corridor and other rooms quite well. Also, the shower does only have "half a door", so the bathroom floor was completely wet after showering.

Very convenient at all levels. Close to the sea, shops and restaurants. The old town is a walking distance away. Rooms are clean and quiet, and the staff is welcoming. Thank you Fabio for your warm welcome !!

The access to the parking is a bit tricky (because it’s an old building). It’s better to have a small car or if you don’t, it’s good to be patient to manoeuvre

It is clear that the management and staff take great pride in this hotel. It is incredibly well maintained, clean, professional and comfortable. The room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel Chambord is centrally located overlooking the main avenue, and we watched the preparations for Menton's citrus festival in a couple of weeks.

The heating was a bit hard to control and the room became too warm for us at times

Location was very good: close to the sea, old town and railway station. Clean, modern and rather big rooms. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was not very good (though not expensive either) don't recommend taking it for several days.
