The best part of this hotel was the staff, who were all helpful, attentive, efficient, friendly, indeed charming. The hotel is newish and everything was clean, worked, and looked good. The rooms were pleasant and efficiently laid out with a good shower. The sound-proofing was excellent, which it needs to be as the hotel is literally right next to the train tracks. This makes it ideal to get to by train -- it's only 2-300m from the station on a straight, flat walk. And is just metres from coach stops. The area is fine and the location is really good: it's a 10 min walk into the old Centre and similar to the Festspielhaus for anyone attending the annual Wagnerian music festival, which were and so, it seemed, were a lot of our fellow guests. (The demand reflected the high price; I imagine it's much more reasonably priced at less busy times). A good spread at breakfast, re-filled by busy, efficient staff, with really good hours (06:30-10:30, 11:00 at weekends) -- just a minor gripe about the lack of decent coffee. The hotel bar, with pizza snacks etc, is open 24h, which is a boon. We'd definitely use again.

Minor issues with breakfast: filter coffee flasks were there, but never appeared to be filled; the do-it-yourself coffee filter was impossible to use, which meant the only coffee option was the usual low-quality standard hotel machine fare.

The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. It is also a brief stroll to the Festspielhaus, the centre of town, and restaurants. The breakfast options were wide enough for my coeliac husband to have a hearty meal every day. The coffee was strong and the nibbles with a wine after the opera were welcome. We were able to have an iron and ironing board in the room for days so that clothes could be pressed as needed and we borrowed an umbrella when the rain kept falling.

The Wi-Fi was irregular for me — but not for my husband (?) — and so all my monthly data was used up in the 8 days we were there. A minor nuisance.

We chose this accomodation while travelling along A9 towards Munich. The place is centrally located - can reach the Old Town of Bayreuth within 10 minutes.walk. We could park our car through pretty all following day - so kept it during sightseeing. Rooms themselves are decorated in good taste, with elements of monkeys - our children did love it. Beds were comfortable, bathroom spacious enough and clean. We especially liked the fact that in the dining room downstairs You can find a playing corner for children - when they finished breakfast did not have to wait by the table but already spent received energy. Bright interior makes Your mood good for the Morning. We arrived during the night - staff was very helpful.

It is not a negative - just a precaution: 2 hotels "meet" at the reception: the Ibis Styles and Ibis Budget - take care in which one You booked the accomodation.

Great location, near station and within very easy walking distance of the Festspielhaus. Very helpful, friendly staff. Very clean and also very quiet (considering how near the hotel is to the railway!)

The beds were two singles pushed together and we don’t think we would have asked for that option (and would prefer a proper double bed). The beds were not particularly comfortable, though there was a supposedly soft extra mattress top. There is no way of making a drink in the room. A simple kettle would be really helpful!

Clean, warm, tidy room...excellent location...spacious bathroom, noiseproof windows (necessary as next to railway line)...breakfast had a nice choice and the staff were on the ball.

In the absence of tea/ coffee making facilities in room, it was at times a bit frustrating to be served a coffee or a beer , as the hotel's protocol is that that sort of service is secondary to guest registration....to wait over 10 minutes is frustrating, not least as other staff were coming and going. Not a major criticism but could easily be adjusted, in my view.

The hotel is located very near to the main railway station - ca. 5 min on foot - that's very convenient if you travel by train. The historical city centre is also near. Rooms are very well soundproofed - my room had a view to the railways and unless the window was open I wasn't able to hear any noise from the passing trains.

A really small room for two people, although it was pretty clean. Open space lobby and breakfast room in quite an industrial style can be hit or miss.

A nice hotel conveniently located near the Bayreuth train station and conveniently located within walking distance of the center of town and of the Bayreuth Festival Theater. The breakfast selection was quite impressive.

The breakfast room was always overcrowded, and there was only one coffee machine for the masses of people there. In addition, owing to the overcrowding, social distancing could not be observed, and there were some unmasked people sniffling and sneezing away at breakfast, which ruined the experience for me.

The breakfast was with a lot of variety was excellent. The receptionist were so kind and helpful. I needed help and ask if I could stay for a long stay and they didn't object. They were flexible and I really appreciate the flexibility.due I have smimmers kids and I had to return for a quick rest. Was perfect. We for sure will return back.

All was excellent. I love the attention of the receptionist and their flexibility. I don't have nothing to complain.

For a 3star we had a brilliant sized family room - It was huge. The hotel is really modern and quite child friendly too. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Location is great too. And breakfast options reallt good also. My kids loved the pancakes.

It was all really good to be fair. Only downfall was our room was not cleaned on some days so we had to request clean towels and bins to be removed.

We liked the deco, the breakfast was varied and plentiful, the room was clean and linen & towels were perfect white.

The rooms were cold and when we tried to turn on the heating it just blew cold air. On Saturday we asked three times at the reception for an ironing board and still got nothing until the next day. The breakfast room was too small for the crowd, we really had an issue with finding a place on Sunday morning.
