Courtyard by Marriott Bremen

The room was spacious and stylish, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning helped relax after a hot day. The room contained everything we could ask for. The staff were friendly. The hotel is a convenient distance from the city centre.

The negatives were very minor: 1. The location, while very convenient, it didn't feel entirely safe, it being next door to the train station. As we arrived we were greeted by someone being tackled by a bunch of policemen in front of the hotel. It's not something the hotel can influence of course, but just mentioning for visitors to be cautious. 2. The hotel advertised sound-proof rooms, which worked perfectly to keep the outside noise away, but we kept hearing our neighbors' small kids. Kids being loud is noone's fault and we didn't mind much, but maybe 'sound-proof' just isn't the right description.

The tea and coffee making facilities were poor with two paper cups (4 people family room!), and very minimal range of tea/coffee, very disappointing for the price. I had to ask for more cups and the receptionist was quite unhelpful telling me to go to the bar (although to be fair the bar staff couldn’t do enough so was pleased with their response!) The room was extremely warm without window open at night which was a problem in a busy location however this is pretty standard.

While traveling in Europe, one becomes accustomed to ridiculously small spaces. This Marriott property exceeded my expectations by it's spaciousness. The room was designed for functionality and I so appreciated the large bathroom, hardwired hair dryer next to the mirror, the comfortable bed, and proximity to the train station. We had dinner in the dining room both nights of or 2-nigjt stay and the salad was outstanding as well as the service!

The hot water scream needs to be repaired in Rm 122.

Good sized room and bathroom with plenty of storage space. High standard of decor as you would expect from Marriott Hotels. Excellent location by the rear entrance to the station. Great choice at breakfast. The tram stop to/from the airport was a mere 100 yards from the hotel entrance. We bought a Bremen Card online before we travelled which we recommend as the hotel is right by the main bus and tram routes, making it so easy to get about without the need to purchase individual tickets on the bus/tram.

The location, the excellent housekeeping, the accommodation, and the lady at the reception who served us. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends who visit Bremen.

The male receptionist who chose not to see us, and continued to play on his computer. He needs some major training. The lady receptionist, who was helping another person, was kind enough to acknowledge us.

Beautiful hotel, great location (literally right next to train station), all facilities really nice. We didn't use the restaurant but it looked really nice. We had a drink in the bar which was enjoyable. Check in was great, especially as we arrived a little bit early.

There was really nothing I didn't like!!

The room size and quality of the furniture.

Although everybody knew that due to a big fair, the breakfast crew was totally overwhelmed. At nine o‘clock (!) there was no waiter, no coffee available, no bread in the basket. For 20 Euros a total rip off in this otherwise so luscious, wonderful and ideally situated hotel.

I liked the comfort of the bedroom, the breakfasts, and the very central location of the hotel.

Although comfortable, I thought the decor and furnishings were a little bland international, although there was a bit of a feature of shipping which was good. I thought the carpet along the corridors leading to the bedrooms was quite hideous yellow colour.

Good location for transport links and for walking into the city. Secure car parking. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options to suit everyone

A bit noisy at times because of remodelling inside at the moment
