Super 8 by Wyndham Chemnitz

The room met my needs, of course it would be great if a mini fridge was available in the room, but I had read the description beforehand and knew it wouldn't be there. Pretty good soundproofing. The staff is kind and responsive. Special thanks to a trendy man with long hair, tunnels and a black manicure (unfortunately, I did not find out his name), he was super responsive and helpful, there is a feeling that he is in the right place - good luck to him! Coffee, milk and hot water/tea for guests is for free.

Great breakfast with friendly and helpful staff. Checking-in was really straight forward and we added another day to our stay. We didn't have to change rooms which was helpful. The rooms are nice, new and modern. Plenty of space. Lots of space in the car park.

Getting into the hotel by car was a nightmare. This is not the hotel's fault, but it's more to do with the construction going on in and around the city. The staff offered to come and get us if we were lost. I hope they can get back to normal for everyone's sanity :) Minor complaint. A nice, big tv in the room but no English channels. Adding a bit more variety might be better for the guests.

I liked the breakfast, appreciated the style of the room and prefer this hotel's pillows over that of a competitor on the other side of the courtyard. Reception staff tried to accommodate for the needs of its clients, staying polite and committed even during an annoying malfunction of the garage doors (not the hotel's fault anyways). Good hairdryer.

Access to the garage still a bit complicated (will this construction of a new bike lane ever be finished or take as long as the Berlin Airport?), but the garage itself is very good. Shower spills (a bit of) water outside the shower area - seems to be an issue of hotels in Chemnitz.

Fantastically comfortable bed, amazing clean white sheets and great fluffy pillows and duvet. Giant TV and spacious bathroom. Everything clean and appeared like new.

Reception staff were not always present and available, also not particularly well trained or polite. There was either only one person or no people on duty, so I had no one there to check me out and luckily had paid for the room in advance, as I was in a hurry so just left the key on the desk after ringing the bell and waiting for five minutes with a queue of other guests forming.

Only 10 minutes walk from train main station. Very clean everything. Comfortable bed. Secure elevator which can be used only with key card.

The shower water splash everywhere. Also the shower is made by glass wall so its half visible by the bedroom the person who is showering. I would have preferred if in the toiled was a stand to put my bag or phone. Also in the hall should be put a place to seat so can be more easy to wear shoes.

Loved the very central location - the main square is just around the block and there is a large shopping centre nearby. The hotel was very clean - maybe recently renovated? The staff at the reception was very helpful and switched to excellent English after hearing my sketchy German. The room could have been a bit larger, but I stayed for a single night with my daugher, so it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was excellent, in a spacious hotel restaurant, and we could park our motorcycle in an underground garage with an elevator to the lobby and the rooms.

We stayed in mid-June 2022 and there were road works around the hotel - finding the route to the garage was a bit of a challenge as you need to pass through a pedestrian zone. No fault of the hotel - we were warned in advance and given a description of the route. It could maybe emphasize more that the route goes around the whole block and through a pedestrian zone.

Huge new Hotel, walkable from railway station. rooms had many smart details and were 100% clean. Bed comfy, relatively soft mattress. Free bottle of water. No mini-fridge or kettle. Breakfast was what you could expect, and had hot food items (scrambled eggs, Bacon, Nuremberg Sausages), inexpensive to include it in your booking, rather pricey if you just walk in.

Covid protocol needs to be enforced more strictly, otherwise we won't get rid of this until forever. At 10.30 pm, the area around the hotel was completely dead, despite its location in downtown. No food whatsoever available in the vicinity, this City is an absolute joke

Breakfast was great. Helpful and friendly staff. The location was very central to most things in the city. The rooms were also quite new, had a nice big tv and were in good condition. Clean and tidy after the rooms were made up.

The pillows were not to my liking, a bit too soft. The shower was nice and big, but because it didn't have a full door on it, the bathroom floor got really wet. The TV was great but only one English speaking channel was a bit disappointing.

There was a little bit of confusion when I entered my room as it had not been cleaned yet from the previous guests but the staff were so quick in accomodating me and changed my room in like one second so I cannot really say it was that big of an issue. The room is great, and the bed is one of the comfiest I have used! Good work 👏🏼

Super clean rooms with comfortable beds and a great bathroom. All very new and neutral. Very quiet and the aircon is fantastic when it's hot outside. The location is great too, right in the centre of the city. The staff are great and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would most certainly come again.

Everything was great
