The location is excellent, quiet, nice ambience. The cleanliness and friendly staffs, excellent choice of breakfast

A small fridge in the room could have been better.. and this hotel could be leveled to four stars! For first timers here, finding the parking building is quite complicated even when you have google maps..the park building is still under construction..and the car park fee of €12/ day should be waived for guests!

- amazing view on a Hörder Castle. - very spacious room. - comfy bed, good mattress. - nice table and a very comfy chair. - even the place is located quite far away from the centre, it's reachable via the u-bahn within 20 minutes. The area of a Hörde district is very nice to stroll around, we wouldn't visit it if stayed in the very centre.

- no shoe spoon, unfortunately. - breakfast was standard ok, but I missed the variety of wursts

Staff were very welcoming and very helpful throughout the trip, the bedroom was so clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast, the breakfast area was so clean and a lot to choose from, loved the juices and coffee and a selection of nice teas. The area was nice with really nice bars and restaurants close by, I was staying to attend the German Comic Con and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We could stay in a quietly located room, as requested.

Free parking is extremely limited and only by night. Therefore you have to use the Parking (12 euros per day) despite the fact that you are away from the city center. Upon our return end of the day the room appeared not to be cleaned. So in the night we had to ask for clean towels etc. We did get what we needed, However to me this is not according to Hampton/Hilton standards.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were also so kind to my pet dog, Milo. The breakfast was great too, as was the location. But really, the staff was what made the difference for me to book this place a few times the past week.

Not so much about the hotel, but the charge per night for the dog is 25 euros, which is higher than most other hotels in Dortmund and Dusseldorf.

Great location by the lake with plenty of options for food. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good.

Parking is a bit of a pain and costs an extra 12euro but it's good that the hotel has its own parking area.

The reception of the staff was very friendly, efficient and flawless.

The pillows are too soft, at breakfast the juices are not fresh and the scrambled eggs are clearly not from fresh eggs.

Really friendly staff, good facilities, great breakfast, and perfect location just off the lake.

A bit overpriced

It is a very qualitative and comfortable hotel in a lake area with nice restaurants - perfect for walking and spending a night or two. Breakfast is superb, rooms very modern, clean and comfortable. Overall good value for money. We stayed one night between planes and liked it a lot. Suggest to anyone.

Very friendly staff - never was a problem if we were a little late for the breakfast. Breakfasts themselves are also on a high level, you will find there what you’d like. Room service is also great - no dust or anything, very clean.

There was some construction work nearby (on a driveway, not noisy), but that’s can happen everywhere
