Mercure Hotel Kaiserhof City Center

nice staff good hotel clean rooms, security is very good there. despite the whole area is so shady, the street where the hotel is, is still fine but one block down it's the junkie street. of course we didnt know that and got a bit scared at night.

the hotel was great the staff was super nice, i just hated the area! so creepy at night and so many junkies... im sorry, it is not the hotel but be careful when you book in this area in general

I like the room and bathroom; very clean. I also like the mini bar although am not the drinking person but at least for those who do. I also like the ambience of the hotel. I like the amazing breakfast although I eat very little. But I saw lots of people consuming the food, which I enjoyed watching. I Like the location. Very close to the train station (about 5 minutes walking distance).

I feel like the room is relatively small I think compared to the price and the window to my room does not have a nice view of of the external environment. I was not impressed by this at all. I was almost requesting for another room but was too tired to do so.

Hotel was spotless, room was a decent size with a desk and office chair if you needed to work as well as an arm chair. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel at a reasonable price. It is near the train station, so great on first and last day as they will keep your case for you. Only downside is that the closeness to a train station often means there are lots of people milling around. Very close to red light area. But I did not find it too intimidating even as a solo traveler.

It was very good, location, room everything. If you arrive by car, ask the hotel to send you the parking address and you will arrive exactly under the hotel.

There is no parking in front of the hotel, even for 5 minutes to leave your luggage. The people at the reception could send an email with instructions with the parking address which is on the street behind the hotel and you arrive exactly under the hotel which is good. I had no instructions and had to park two blocks away and on the way to the hotel I saw things that I didn't want to see in this life (homeless people and drug addicts).

Dirty, dark streets around train station..

Great location near the central train station (which is only 15min from the airport). Near to all the areas we wanted to visit (tourists) so the property is well located with loads of restaurants and bars located on the street and near by BUT please be aware that although the location was great and didn't faze us, it can get a little 'lively' when the sun goes down. This is pretty similar to other cities whereby major transport hubs attract a certain type of person once it gets dark! We never felt unsafe and obviously took precautions (didn't act like tourists!). Would stay here again the next time we visit Frankfurt. Oh and the breakfast was very good too!

No USB charging points in the room so make sure you have a travel plug adaptor for your electronic devices.

This place was great with a very short walk to the train station and Metro. I had a room in back and I can honestly say it was the most quiet room I have ever had, also very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were nice and English speaking. Many good restaurants nearby.

I usually do not watch much TV but the English channels were not available, apparently not subscribed. For the fairly high room prices they charge why not provide at least one English international news channel. I had several hours from when I arrived from my long all night flight from California before I could check in at 3 PM. I was very tired but had to wait. Overall the hotel was excellent and I would stay there again.

Good business stay for one night near the main railway station. A no frills experience but overall pleasant and matter-of-fact. The room i was first given had a smell of smoke so the reception immediately gave me another room, no questions asked, and a complementary drink as a small compensation, which i thought was appropriate enough. The other reviewers‘ complaints about the neighborhood are exaggerated. Sure there is a certain crowd hanging out but no danger or bother. Just be happy you are sleeping in a nice comfortable bed and go on with your own business.

Room was really good. Very clean, with a comfortable bed and great shower. I heard very little noise from the street below. Checking in and checking out went quickly. Frankfurt airport was easily accessible by public transport.

The hotel was close to the Frankfurt's main railway station, which was good, and although the street had many cafes, restaurants, a variety of shops the area could appear unsafe at times.

Close to Frankfurt Hbf, walking distance even with luggage. Staff were very helpful, and a special shout out to Gwen, who was helpful at the breakfast buffet, which was very good. The facilities are good and the stay was excellent.

The area can be a little bit seedy, but if you stay on the street and venture down to Old Town, there are no problems. We didn't feel unsafe.
