Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer

Our room was as expected as seen online, clean, bright with lovely views looking over towards the main train station. The bed was comfortable and no noise could be hear during the night due to the louder than normal air-conditioning. The shower was large with plenty of showering products attached to the wall. Mini bar was a nice treat and restocked every day. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of fresh foods, the breakfast room was bright and airy, a delightful place to start the day. Staff were always helpful. The location could have been better, close enough to the train station, easy walking distance to river promenade, museums and old town.

Unable to control noise on airflow out of air-conditioning, temperature could not be adjusted.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It even had a view of the Main river! A wonderful surprise was that we could borrow (for free) two bicycles with which we rode along the river. It was so cool! We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. The next morning we discovered that they offered a tremendous breakfast buffet; we have never seen anything like it, from fresh pastries, to American breakfast items, many different kinds of jam, cheese, cold cuts, to waffles. You could even make your own juice! And the coffee was amazing too.

Highly enjoyed our stay in Scandic Hotel. After the first night, we requested a different room, as the first one was near the elevators and very noisy because of this. Apart from this, everything was perfect. The room has an amazing view, from the (very comfortable) bed you can see the skyline. Great breakfast, with many options - including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free. Also thanks to the staff for all the pleasant interactions and help. Location: it was perfect for us. Close to city center (walking distance under 10 minutes) and central train station, but away from the noise and traffic. Also close to the river, where you can go for a run.

The walls are relatively thin and you can hear noises when the elevators are used. If you're a noise-sensitive sleeper (like we are), request a room that's not close to the elevators. We requested a different room after the first night and, after moving, everything was great and we slept well.

Good location! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station and 5 minutes from the main road. We chose the superior best view room as it had a perfect view of the Frankfurt skyline. Really super nice! 🥰 Staffs are Kindly and helpful ! Surprisingly there is a small sink and dining table where I can cook simple meals for the kids (of course that you must bring your own appliances 😉！） This experience is great! Make people feel at home!

⚠️⚠️⚠️The only downside is that the windows are a bit broken and cannot be closed after opening. Really dangerous for little kids! The staff came to fix it the next day after I reported it, but it didn't seem to be completely resolved. I think it is necessary to check this kind of facilities regularly!

The room was very interesting, with the bed in the middle of the room, facing out over the lovely skyline. The mini bar had what we needed and was included in the room price. Enough outlets for charging and room to spread out. The front desk staff were super helpful and engaging.

The reading lights on either side of the bed no longer function properly. The bathroom lighting was horrible for makeup and shaving. The big breakfast was not included, no worries, as we only wanted to buy a cappuccino and a croissant only. This was not available so had to go out and find a cafe for this and nothing opens very early. However, there is free regular coffee in the lobby most of the time.

The bed in front of the windows with the city view is class and the lamps near the bad are cool designed and, thanks to that, they come in handy. Also, the bed is exceptionally soft and its pillows too. The bathroom is nice, especially because of the position of the mirror and the 2 lamps inside the big one. The shower looks faboulous and the minibar is a masterpiece!

The room had everything necessary for a good and comfortable stay, so there isn't something i can complain about. The only thing that i can say is that the door in the shower wasn't closing how it is supposed to, i think.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I appreciated all the assistance, as I was traveling on crutches. They provided insight into transit options, helped with some specific accommodations, and assisted with getting my breakfast to my table. The room was exactly as the pictures show and my view was wonderful! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and filling, and I loved that there were gluten free and vegan options, as well as a juicing station. The dining area has lots of natural light and was a lovely space.

The shower was also challenging to navigate with only use of one foot. I wasn’t sure how close by transit was, and given my crutches, it was difficult to get to places. Without crutches, there seemed to be a nice, busy area with lots of shops and restaurants about 15 minutes walking across the bridge/Main.

I like everything, especially the amazing breakfast buffet with the delicious Bircher Muesli and fresh fruit. 😋 The vibe of the place is wonderful, and there are even terrific bikes for guests to use. I love the fact that the rooms aren't serviced unnecessarily. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It was incredibly comfortable. There was even an iron and ironing board in the cupboard.

I couldn't think of anything I didn't like!

This was the best hotel stay of our Europe trip staying in 15 hotels. The staff were so helpful especially Carolina who helped us plan and book our Rhine River cruise with river and train tickets. We loved the large modern rooms and the breakfast room and bar was light and airy. Also, the buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. The hotel was located within walking distance of the main station and close to the Rhine River promenade. We would definitely recommend this hotel and return here when we are next in Frankfurt.
