Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten

The location was wonderful. For the most part the staff was friendly and welcoming. I arrived in December 15 a Thursday evening. The young man working the desk had only been with the hotel two days. He was so sweet and welcomed me with a warm smile. The next day December 16 the man working the desk was not so kind. Not once did he smile nor did he seem to want to be helpful. However the lady with the dog who worked with him was very nice. Breakfast was Ok many things were empty at 8:30 in the morning and did not get replaced. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the balcony overlooking the parking Platz. I would stay here again easily.

Location of the hotel is excellent, right next to a train station. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was a loft room (you had to watch for your head at certain parts of it) but it was of good size and even the bathroom had a window with the view of nearby mountains, I was really pleasantly surprised by that detail. Breakfast was good, not such a big selection but there were some nice options.

I found it quite problematic that restaurant closes for dinner that early. After 6pm its either limited offer or its fully closed (on Sunday).

Everything.. was great! vibe hotel, roomy, open, airy, clean, comfortable, very safe, checkin was great! Staff was friendly, informative, knowledgeable. Stayed across from train station & buses, not too busy or noisy, everything just flowed beautifully! My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Christian was our go to guy whether it be at front desk or outside ordering food & drinks! Just a great friendly all around guy! Would love to return!

Check in was efficient and easy. The breakfast food and times were excellent. Very good location for exploring areas around Garmisch. Also very suitable and very convenient for people travelling by rail to garmisch.

No car parking. Had to park in the pay car park, problems payin by card and didn't have enough coins to pay for overnight stay as we had just arrived directly from UK - some sort of an arrangement for car parking would have helped a lot.

I only stayed one night, but it was lovely and clean, well located. The beds are a bit soft but that's personal choice. The room was adequate, though there are no fridges as the hotel make an environmental decision to have a fridge for use downstairs. That was okay with me. The breakfast was good given it was included, a range of hot and cold options, though a few more vegetarian options might be appreciated. I would stay again

Very clean. Parking is available only in a pay as you go parking lot across the street. Laundromat down the street, 7.50 euro to wash, 6.50 to dry and fold by staff. NOT self service. Breakfast was traditional bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice. Very friendly staff. Family room was basic, clean.

No free parking. Clean but felt like 1970's Holiday Inn. No frills but adequate. Within walking distance of only a Mexican restaurant.

The location of the hotel is super convenient if you are relying on train and bus transport as we did - the train station and bus stops are practically at your doorstep. And the town centre is just a 10 minute walk away.

Probably because it was off-season the hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast, not for lunch or dinner.There are not many other restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms facing the street/square could be noisy at night although the rooms facing the mountain were very quiet and pleasant. While we had some helpful staff, a number of them were not at all friendly or welcoming.

It was a perfect location . Just across the train station . 3mins walk away . Breakfast were included in the package . We were happy with the breakfast too , not the best but sufficient and good . Love the freshly squeeze orange juice machine that we get to have fresh orange juice every morning . The pancake was super yummy !!! Staff was very helpful . "Thump up " !! Will definitely recommend.

booked family room . Room size was a little cramp for 4 adults . Very limited space for 4 big luggages . But they have a huge toilet , so big that we kept 2 of our big luggage in the toilet hahaha . Also it would be nice if the toilet equip with more shelfs as we have 4 peoples using 1 toilet . Other than that everything was good .

the hotel’s in a central location next to the train station, close to the center and also close to some starting points for hikes. it’s clean and comfortable with a great selection for breakfast, I even received a lunch package when I had to leave early before breakfast was being served. staff is really friendly.

the fitness room was a little bit small, but had a good basic equipment

Breakfast was very good, wide selection of cereal, cheeses and sliced meats plus boiled eggs, bread and rolls. Teas, coffee and fruit juice also available. The room key got lost in Oberammergau and a 30 Euro charge was applied. The atmosphere on the terrace was excellent and much helped by the excellent wait staff who engaged with all the patrons in both English and German.
