DORMERO Hotel Kelheim

The hotel is in a good location to access the Donau and for exploring Kelheim. The room was really spacious and the free mini bar is a really nice touch. The bed was really comfortable and there was good water pressure in the shower. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. Overall it was good value for money.

The hotel reception is rarely staffed and the ground floor feels like a bit of a ghost town as a result. This is also added to as there is music played in the corridors upstairs but not at reception. The hotel has a wellness centre but you need to go in advance to ask for access - this is for energy saving purposes, which I understand but I think it defeats the point if you have to search for someone to use it. The shower head could really do with a de-scaling also.

Good hotel with a lot of facilities. Very close to the bus stop and cruise. Breakfast was good and big, but a bit expensive in my opinion. We got top floor attic rooms with no AC. In summer it was very difficult . They have foosball, billiards and a decent workout gym. Overall good.

The location is great, the breakfast was good, the sleep quiet and comfortable. There was billiard and foosball in the lobby. Minibar was free. Nice place for storing one's bike.

Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. Well, there was no cold water at the breakfast, tthose is the only thing.

comfortable room with some hotel amenities if needed. they have bike storage for those cycling the Danube. WiFi was standard, like most of Germany it’s not great but you could work here.

My husband walked in and asked for availability and was told no. I then very easily booked it through this app and they gave me a room. This was strange.

EXCELLENT receptionist!! So accommodating and nice. LOVED the view from my room, and the 24/7 coffee maker.

A little disappointed with the ant problem. My daughter and I had to buy chlorine at the local Supermarkt to spray in the corners, under the desk and around the door leading to the balcony. It seems to be known to the hotel, as there was an ant trap on the balcony of our next-room neighbor.

Veeeery pleasant stay! Nice breakfast items during Corona...love the coffee machine that is open 24/7....and wow for the location!

The staff is VERY responsive, even when it's not "check in" hours. It is reassuring to know you will have someone there within 15 minutes if you experience any issue.

We had the most friendly greeting upon arrival to the DORMERO hotel. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Nice location in the center of town and a two minute walk from the boat stop. Modern décor. Large and comfortable room. Nice staff.

Bathroom floor not constructed correctly, so water was everywhere after taking a shower. Didn't dare use the hairdryer because of it, and hairdryer was fixed to the wall so couldn't use in the other room. Had to leave hotel with wet hair.

Loved the room. Big, comfortable bed, good lighting, huge TV. Good location. Very nice lady at the reception!

Some surfaces weren’t clean. Window not very soundproof.
