Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom, part of JdV by Hyatt

Wonderful location, extremely close to the train station/hauptbahnhof but no disturbance from noise. Staff were extremely accommodating. Room was large, clean and spacious. The gym facilities were perfect, and open until 10pm which was very convenient. Check out was at 11am too which was very relaxed. The bed was also extremely comfortable. I would absolutely look to stay here again.

The breakfast was expensive ~€25, but as not many places are open early in the morning, it was the only option if you want to eat early. Good points: It was an extremely varied continental breakfast, with options for all palates. It was from 6:30-10am which was an extremely generous timeframe.

Location is fantastic. We did have a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the hotel but not a big issue. Very close to Cologne Dom, Cologne HBf and Christmas markets. Comfortable beds, good size rooms - a bit more spacious than other hotel. Has good size wardrobe and plenty of space to put luggages and other items. Buffet breakfast was really good (extra fee). Easy check in and check out. Bathroom is quite spacious with great space to put your clothes and other items. I needed to print out tickets and the front desk were happy to do it. There is a tiny kiosk near the front desk for small items like chips, water, soda, etc. USB slots for charging near the bed and near the desk.

A better signage from the main road indicating which is the hotel and which is the residence. We followed the sign that was there and turned out it was somekind of residential or apartments. The receptionist at the building unhappily directed us to the hotel. The room has an annoying alarm sound when you open the door with the keycard until you slot the keycard into the power slot.

I would like to thank the fantastic personnel - the whole staff was extremely friendly, helpful at the same time perfectly professinal. Special "thank you" to Pamela and Malon from breakfast team - you were both so kind, caring and helpful - you made our stay extremely enjoyable and relaxing. You serviced us extremelly professionally, but at the same time friendly and kindly. I think the level of your service is exceeding the scale of 10 :). I would recommend the management the award/recognition for them both :). I would definitely recommend the hotel and would like to come back. The breakfast was excellent, breakfast time was so long, the cleanliness and furnishing of the rooms were god, the reception staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and nice as well. Swimming pool was a great realxing time after a tiresome day :).

It was a bit noisy during night - at the patio outside or adjacents flats there seem to be night party, so we need to keep the window closed.

The staff was the real highlight of our stay. We were received like VIPs: the 2 ladies at reception tried really hard to give us adjacent rooms, and seeing the despair in our daughter's eyes as she had forgotten her phone, they offered free snacks to both kids and kept on smiling at them, what a warm welcome! The beds were excellent, the pillows (3 different types) amazing, the rooms very quiet and spacious, and the breakfast was a blast! With this excellent central location, very highly recommended!

We could not have a drink on the terrace after 10pm because of the nearby elderly house, but that did not hammer our overall experience.

Perfect location, very close to the cathedral and the railway station and at the same time located in quiet area. Really good breakfast with wide variety and extended serving hours. Spacious, modern and soundproof rooms. Friendly staff. Arriving a bit earlier than check in hours we got our keys since a room was already prepared.

In twin room light switches appeared to be behind bed pillows therefore you could accidentally switched a light on during night. Room cleaning was not the best. Details about deposit process could be provided during check in.

Location just perfect, very close to the Central Railwaystation but far enough to be quiet and comfortable. Staff was excellent, very friendly and most helpfull. At first we didn't book our breakfast, but what a surprise it was after we booked it on our arrival. It was more than worth the € 26,= a real treat it was and a great start of another beautiful day in Köln. Compliments to the staff in the breakfast area aswell, most friendly and if you would have appeared with a bad mood you would have gone out with a big smile! Thanks again for this wonderful experience!

Probably everyone is expecting something, but I need to say I need to disappoint you now. ;)

very friendly stuff, ready to help solve each request; the hotel is very central, just 4-5 walking minutes from the Dom; the parking house is a plus (20 euro/day extra though); the pool and the sauna were clean and nice; the breakfast was absolutely delicious and with a lot of options for every taste and also good for late sleepers till 12 o'clock

the mattresses were not very firm anymore, still comfortable enough for a few nights

The hotel was really close to the main Köln railway station (Hauptbahnhof), and also the beautiful Dom cathedral, and walking distance to many fab attractions. The room was super spacious, and it was awesome to have a balcony and doors that opened wide over a heatwave weekend. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the was a fab very deep bath, with a grab handle to assist in getting out. I really liked staying here; it was not fancy, but it was perfect for what I needed, at a good price for such an awesome location.

Great location. Nice room, very nice breakfast.

Minor issue but we had asked for joining rooms and booked out at least a month. When we got there they said we would have to be in different floors. No big deal. But when I got to the room I found that it had a connecting door to the next room. I think the front desk staff just didn’t pay attention when booking the rooms for the evening. The hotel was great, it just would have been nice.

All the staff were very nice and welcoming, always smiling and professional. The location is excellent in the centre but very quiet at the same time. The hotel and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet, as I like. The breakfast was amazing not too many options, but each dish was done to perfection 👌

Just one small notice that the room needed more artificial light.
