Wyndham Köln

The mattress didn't swallow me, but it was far from being a concrete slab. The curtains were pretty much blackout, except for a tiny bit at the top. With the window closed the room was pretty soundproof to outside - and I was on the first floor. Clean and modern throughout. I was there for a music festival, so admittedly I never made breakfast. The room was a good base of operations, the staff were great (even when I drunkenly lost my room keycard).

No complaints at all

I stayed in the hotel only for one night as I needed to catch an early train. The location of this hotel is perfect if you travel by train. It is literally across the road from the Central Station. The size of the room was really good, and very comfortable, clean, I slept really well. Overall, the hotel could do with a bit of refurbishment, but for one or two nights it was great. I did not have any breakfast at the hotel as I had to check-out very early to catch my train, so cannot comments on that.

The room was very clean, spacious and modern looking. There was lots of storage room and we were so happy to notice we even had a small balcony section. In an attempt to turn on the bathroom light, I was pleasantly surprised by an infra-red lamp turning on above my head. Perfect feature for travelers with sore muscles! The reception workers were very friendly. Stepping out of the hotel entrance, it took us less than 1 minute to be in the train station. Our room faced the station and we had no issues with sounds coming from that direction at all.

My room was on the second floor and the carpet in the halls is not that nice of a colour.

The location is perfect, right next to the railway station. The view of the Cathedral from the tiny balcony is good. Comfortable bed and blackout curtains, good soundproofing, so one may have a good rest at night.

Not very clean. The loo was dirty, with stains made by water, but it is possible to remove them. Stains on the blanket. No slippers. No big towel to wrap oneself after the shower. Coffee-maker seems to be not working or maybe there should be a printed guide near it on how to use it, because I couldn`t put the coffee capsule inside. The room is quite small. It should definitely cost less.

Located right across Wittembergplatz, and its corresponding subway station, it's super-easy to move around Berlin. It is also surrounded by restaurants, bars, banks, and shopping centers, as well as being very close to the zoo. The room was comfortable, of decent dimensions, and the front desk clerk was very pleasant!

Since the hotel is larger than it looks, getting to my room wasn't so easy. Also, the shower tended to flood rather easily, resulting in water pouring onto the bathroom floor. Apart from that (and the creepy room decor depicting a young lady staring into space), everything was fine.

The breakfast was excellent due to the friendly staff name Liza who made every guests feels welcome with her smiling and friendly personality. The location was excellent just exactly opposite the main train station and near the DOM. As a traveler to visit Kolnmesse, its so convenient with 1 station stop away. Will definite use this hotel for our future trips to Koln.

Rooms are generally smaller and the double bed was a little bit small for our liking.

It was clean and quiet. It's very close to the central train station and you can walk to almost every where in the city. I believe they care about the guests. I left my headphone in the room. They were very responsible about that and send it back to me to Sweden.

The property doesn't have a fridge. It wouldn't be nice if you want to have your beers cold for the night! I asked for an extra blanket, nobody brought it to me. I had to pick it up from the reception myself.

Staff were friendly and professional and the room although compact was clean and comfortable. Situated within a stones throw of the main train station made this an ideal location to be based. There were plenty of restaurants, bars and tourist interests all within short walking distance, especially along the Rhine River.

The hotel lacked English language TV channels. Even a couple would have been welcome

Since it is not my first stay at Wyndham Cologne, I know what to expect. Location is excellent, breakfast as well. Bathroom quite cramped, but it is fine. I have to mention that service at the reception is always with a smile and to the highest level. One person in particular namely Ms. Leonie is such a nice person . Thank you for the pleasant stay at Wyndham.

I do not have any negative comments.
