Leonardo Hotel Mönchengladbach

Property was clean and overall in good condition. Person at from desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing.

Spots on the carpet in main area in our room. Only in the evening there seemed to be a sewage smell…probably because it was hot outside that day. This smell was apparent on the second floor and our room. I’m not sure if odor was present on other floors. Smell seemed to be gone in the morning. Another issue had to do with smokers outside in the front of the hotel. Since it was hot outside the lobby doors were open, and what wind there was blew cigarette smoke into the hotel lobby. People with health issues may have a problem with this. Some people may not mind these things, while others may never tell you about these things and instead hesitate to come back.

Hotel central, room big

Hotel had hockey teams staying for the European championship the hotel hallway was filled with sweaty smelly kit put there to air, this was not ideal but as we were there to watch the hockey, will say we understood but if we had been there for any other reason this would have been unacceptable, the teams should maybe have been housed on the same floors and separate floor reserved for normal guests.

The room was big and we had an extra sofa in the room wich was nice. There is a beautiful park on the opposite of the building wich a little lake. The vending machine inside the building was nice for cold drinks at night aswell.

The building didnt looked quite as good as it was inside. Parking is limited and only possible on the parking lot of the Hotel. The elevator was a but old but did his job reliable. Not necessarily suitable for allergy sufferers (carpet) but everything was clean.

The variety of options for breakfast was definitely top-notch. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist in any way they could. The amenities were of a very high standard, including a very high-quality internet connection.

The lifts were extremely slow, and it was unclear whether your input had been accepted, so you had to keep pressing the keys to ensure you went to the correct floor. Additionally, the lift display arrows on our floor were not working, making it difficult to tell whether the lift was going up or down, even after selecting the key that corresponded to the direction you were going.

I liked very much the positioning of the hotel and overall open buffet breakfast has a ton of option... The hotel has a restaurant included and you can walk to the center. The spa is nice and the gym is quite big.

Although the breakfast had a ton of option it did not come cheap... Check the price of having breakfast there... Unless you are planning on skipping lunch is probably not worth it. Overall .... I know its a German thing but carpet everywere tend to be dirty after a while.

This is a typical mid quality hotel, breakfast good, reception and other staff good. Food was good but not a massive choice. Room big, aircon/heating worked well, TV very nice to have some english channels beyond the normal world news channels (range of uk channel 4's plus film 4). Plenty of parking.

Hard to fault anything on my several stays here for work visits. Paying for parking grates a bit but seems to be the excepted norm these days everywhere

location was excellent, (close to the centre, but quiet), the parking was very convenient, the reception staff was very willing to help and the breakfast was very nice, both in terms of variety and of quality.

The room had two normal beds and the other two persons (our children) had to sleep on a leather type sofa bed that was not comfortable. The bed linen kept falling off the sofa bed and one of the bed sheets had one big hole. One day our room was not cleaned at all, and the other days, although they came and made the beds, our dirty glasses were not replaced and the bathroom gave the impression that was superficially cleaned ( there was still hair left on the floor near the sink and the bath tub)

It was best night sleep we've had in a while. We've travelled for the whole day with an infant and a dog and arrived really late. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We've asked for a travel cot for our son and here it was waiting for us with the duvet. We've also never been in a pet friendly hotel, so it was shocking to me that no one has bat an eyelash when at 11pm we've stepped in with our massive dog. Large room with family bathroom, all the things you would have found in a hotel room. We didn't really use any facilities other than the restaurant, the breakfast was more than we have expected. Super friendly staff, one of the guys asked us if we need a high chair even though I didn't even think about it myself and also has been an amazing help throughout breakfast, so very kind and polite. We chose this location as it was on our way to our destination, but couldn't choose better. Very convenient location off the motorway with easy access back on. We are booked to be back on our way back home. Great experience, looks like it will be our new place to stay when visiting family abroad.

Great hotel, very good service, friendly and professional staff. We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, during the Dusseldorf Medica Fair, and we were delighted. Comfortable beds, since rest is essential, and everything is very clean. We haven't eaten in the restaurant, we were always out for work, so I can't say anything about it. We have needed a favor from the hotel and they were happy to help us, although we have bothered more than normal (package pickup, calls, etc.) We highly recommend it.

Clean and Comfortable Room and Bed. The noise level was so low we could sleep very well. the supply of Coffee or Tea was also there and it was the first Hotel with a coffee machine in the room. As well the Bottle of water was a lovely gesture, as well the friendly Staff was a big help.
