Atrion Resort Hotel

I read some of the reviews and I was a little sceptical about the hotel. When we got there I was pleasantly surprised, big room , comfy beds, room was clean and tidy. Views of the sea and the pool and I could not fault the staff and the service. Anna was amazing at the breakfast buffet so friendly and made us feel welcome, Nikoleta who was the waitress around the pool area was exceptional and again made us feel right at home. The position of the hotel could not be better with the restaurants and bars in your doorstep but also far enough away to be very quiet at night and the beach across the road brilliant holiday all round! I will be booking again very soon and highly recommended.

Location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the beach. Rooms & hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Room had all the expected facilities. Staff very good.

Pool was a bit cold

The property is in a great location in Agia Marina, close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. I booked a superior room which was lovely and modern with a huge comfy double bed. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

No do not disturb signs for the doors, not sure if this is due to covid or not. I was disturbed in my room a couple of times which was quite annoying. I wouldn’t mind as much if it was for the maids, but it was usually just notes being delivered promoting dinners they was holding at the hotel.

Our stay was great! The staff was wonderful, everybody was so helpful and friendly! Everything was very clean, the pool area was beautiful and there is a little playground for kids which was great! We booked half board (breakfast and dinner buffet), the food was delicious. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast time and the staff even prepared breakfast-boxes for us and for my baby. Thank you so much :) :)

The only downside was that the eggs used in the restaurant are from caged hens - it would be great if this one thing would be changed.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, well set out, the staff were really friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed it here, close to so many lovely restaurants, a shop, the beach and public transport. Thank you

The cocktails at the bar we're nasty and the only drinks I didn't finish on the whole holiday, that was 1 cocktail each for both me and my partner, we both left half. I didn't feel so good after so that was the first and last drink we got at the hotel. Breakfast- the baked beans were tepid at best everyday and most days cold. There was also broccoli and onion rings layed out for breakfast which was pretty odd. Other than that the breakfast was pretty good

We got nice and spacious room nr. 710 with a large terrace with pool view. We were pleased with the tasty and rich food at breakfast and also at dinner, kind and helpful staff (especially always smiling Nikoletta), large pool, cleanliness and great location. And I also thank Eleni from the reservation department for her friendliness, willingness and patience with my requests :)

A couple of small things were not quite ideal (the faucet/tap in the sink was noisy, the air conditioning could have been quieter, a lot of stairs when going from the room to the restaurant/outside or a need to use elevator more times, and the TV signal dropped out more often). But that was not that important. And you should unify information about the opening hours of the pool (on the board at the entrance to the pool it is 8:30 p.m. and on the board near the shower next to the pool it is 6:30 p.m.)

All recommendations for Atrion Resort Hotel. The resort itself is great, wide, clean with beautiful gardens, a grass area and a large pool. We are very pleased with the accommodation, comfortable apartment with one dinning and two sleeping rooms, and two balconies for 4 person family. All-new, well kept and very comfortable, including the new comfortable mattresses. We had a fully equipped kitchen, although we didn't use it since we had a half-board. The food (breakfast and dinner) was tasty, with plenty of choices for breakfast and a very good dinner with a variety of cheeses and a mix of Greek and Italian meals. Among the rare hotel restaurants with pasta that is not overcooked, with real parmesan and homemade tomato sauce. For lunchtime, there is a good choice of sneaks at the pool bar. Clean tables, plastic gloves for covid-safety in the dining area. The staff was also very precautious in terms of covid measures. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful - starting from Elena to which we have communicated after booking, Katerina at the Reception, to the wonderful bar and restaurant staff that became our friends, always supportive and available for all our questions and requests – Tony, Viktor, Adnonis, Kostas, the lady in the restaurant and the gentlemen from the Reception. Many warm greetings to all of them – you are all great guys. The Atrion resort itself is very well located, in the middle of tourist village Agia Marina, with lots of tavernas and restaurants. SuperMarket, working till late at night, is just across the street from the hotel. A very good beach is just 50 meters away (cross the street and you are on the beach). Numerous beach bars nearby. You can enjoy the beach on the grass area under the palm trees or on sunbeds on a wide sandy beach. The sea was crystal clear all the time. So, do not hesitate to book this hotel for a great holiday in a wonderful Crete.

topnotch is the location! admins are helpful and ready-to-help, rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable (like really comfortable), food is fresh and good

1. Hotel has the pool and the rules underline that the customers cannot leave their towels on the sunbeds as the reservation act. However people leave their sunbeds for a long time and leave the towels for “reservation” and the problem is that not all customers can enjoy the sunbeds even they are free at the moment. Hotel is aware of this problem, however it sees it through the fingers, sometimes they make solutions to solve the problem, sometimes dont. 2. The breakfast is good but monotonic. Hotel as the majority of the hotels use swedish table concept. However the food served is all the same through the days with minor changes. Its tasty and good, but for a long time stay, its a short of variety.

Comfy room, big balcony, nice garden, big pool and delicious greek food!

We loved everything about the property. Great location for what we wanted to do. Breakfast was a highlight.

We did find the mattress in our room a little uncomfortable but wondered if a stiff mattress was a norm in Greece. The pool was a bit crowded (sun bathers) but we just stayed at the beach instead.
