Aris Boutique Hotel

the property is located in a quiet part of town, just a few minutes walk from the port. the facilities are very nice, I love that a lot of effort was put into the interior design. be sure to visit the rooftop lounge, it is super cozy and you get an amazing view of Paleochora. The room was clean and comfortable and we also enjoyed the excellent breakfast with a variety of foods, fruits and fresh juices. The staff was truly amazing, and very helpful. We were given a warm welcome and received great tips for hiking routes. They went out of their way to get me an item back that I forgot, truly amazing service! i highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to coming back!

The Hotel is flawless. It is located near Paleochora center and pretty close to both beaches, but not in a noisy area. It is places inside a beautiful garden. The breakfast was exceptional, also for vegetarians. Everything was super clean and the maids cleamed the room daily. The staff owner were all very helpful and kind. On my arrival my bag was misplaced by the airline and brought the next day, the owner went himself to the bus station to collect it for me. And there are cute cats who don't bother guests. I totally recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Paleochora.

We stayed there 3 nights. Hotel is modern and very lovely with so many details which make the stay comfortable and special (cozy benches in front of the hotel, garden, terrace on the roof with a hammock) We had room like apartment (doors through balcony) and it was comfortable. Room had enough space, nice bathroom and balcony with view on palm trees and also little view on sea in distance. Bed was really comfortable and everything was sparkling clean 10/10– cleaning staff is great and very kind, we also have good experience with staff at the reception. Free parking is near hotel. Self served beakfast was awesome, one of best ever, with many choices – few types of bread, homemade jam, butter, coffee, fresh orange juice, greek yogurt, eggs, cheese, fruit, vegetables, many different nuts. Location is also great, only 5 minutes walk from centre of Paleochoria but still on completely quiet place (no traffic, no loud places near). The closest beach is 2 min walk. I really want to come back someday.

The included breakfast was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and most helpful. They also looked after most of our luggage while we visited Sougia for one night in the middle of our stay. The first room we had was excellent and had a great view while the hotel has very nice grounds that one can relax in.

I very much appreciated that the hotel provides free bicycles. Unfortunately they are not well looked after and most needed some maintenance so rising them was not as enjoyable as it can easily have been.

We really liked the 5 nights @ Aris Hotel. The rooms were always clean & the hotel crew absolutely lovely. The breakfast was the best - also for vegans. Every morning we got fresh orange juice & I was given almond milk for my Müsli. Also the location was good - it was a 5 minute walk to sandy beach and 5 minute walk to the center of Paleochora. This hotel has a personality and a soul. The breakfast provides a varied selection to satisfy almost any reasonable taste. The landscaping is lush and inviting. Lots of flowers and trees and vines provide shade. Rooms are tastefully decorated - and the beds are comfortable. There are some imaginative cool touches such as the rooftop lounge. Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Quiet and charming,

we had no complaints

A beautiful room with door opening to a small garden. The hotel is perfectly placed, in easy walking distance to the beaches, the center and the port. The manager and the staff were extremely nice and helpful: solving all our questions and helping us to arrange trips and plans we came up with: sometimes not an easy job! Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty: the staff in the kitchen was kind enough to arrange for our food allergies as well, always meeting our needs with smiles and a helping hand.

A comparatively small, but impeccably run, family hotel. The interior decor is stylish, with many original works of art. The Aris is in an excellent location, being a few minutes walk from the seafront restaurants and the compact centre of Palaeochora. It is also a short walk away from the beautiful beach of the town. Breakfast is served in a quiet dining room or on a sunlit terrace, shaded by trees. The Aris is a beautiful place in which to stay for a restful holiday or for exploring southern Crete.

One of the very best buffet breakfasts I’ve ever had. Great location and view from the balcony. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable and elegant rooms. Beautiful reception area, garden and roof top terrace. One of the very best hotels I’ve stayed in.
