Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel

My wife and I spent 3 nights in early October in a Double Room with Pool View. We asked to be moved from the ground floor to the first floor which the hotel willingly did. Room was okay. Hotel has good facilities. Food is buffet and there is wide variety which is great. Plenty of wine, spirits and cocktail available in the hotel bars. We also like that they put wine, beer and soft drink in your room fridge as part of the all-inclusive (these are replaced every other day)! Every where is clean.

The beach next to the hotel is not really great. It is pebbles and you need to cross a public road to get there (though the road is quiet). Swimming pool and beach deck chairs are "booked" by people putting towels on them overnight or very early in the morning! The hotel should really not allow this. We could not get a table in the Italian restaurant throughout our stay as all tables were "fully booked" several days ahead! However, we did see several empty tables in the supposedly fully booked days. I think the hotel should just keep it simple: first come on the day takes a seat.

3rd time at a Mitsis and as always the staff are excellent. They are extremely efficient and friendly. This was our 1st time at the Ramira but we stayed at the Mitsis Laguana twice before. The Ramira was not quite the same standard as the Laguna but we had the best time at the Ramira. First it's a great location right on the beach and had a nice breeze to take the edge off the heat. It's also close to Kos Town which made it convenient for days out and a change of scenery. I highly recommend renting a bike to cycle to Kos Town. It's only 4K, flat path and a cycle path all the way. It's all inclusive so there's no chance of being hungry. The dining room has a great selection of food. Highly recommend. In fact, we've booked again for next year.

The airconditioning in the room was not very good. It took ages to cool down and also switched off everytime we went to the balcony. The food was a little oily and even salads had rich sauces. We would have preferred some lighter options. As usual now, too many pool and beach loungers reserved with towels. They need to be removed.

The location was great, overall facilities at the hotel were very good

While the food overall was good, the standard at the two Al a carte was definitely not that of a 5 star hotel, particularly the meat restaurant. The menu in the latter was limited and understanding of how to cook meat very basic. It would have been nice to have a wider choice in Al a carte restaurants and if these e restaurants were located separate to the buffet restaurant so you actually felt like you were having a different dining experience. The buffet restaurant was good but there was always a long wait to have drinks served, even water! Perhaps consider having water at each table as guests are seated and have staff dedicated to drinks orders. Several evening our drinks, including water arrived half way through our meal.

Great hotel with excellent staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Everywhere was clean, the room was cozy and also very clean, we had a sea view. Excellent and varied food and drinks. very good price-quality ratio, beautiful and well-maintained garden and swimming pools. A quieter location, but close to the main city. We thank Michalis for the excellent service on the terrace every evening. Greetings to the wonderful Janka from the hotel's souvenir shop, you will find everything there. lots of amenities and things to don

the service was not great. We suspected there were not enough staff employed to support the volume of bookings as the hotel was quite busy. there were frequent queues at the bar for drinks and no system so getting a drink was a bit chaotic at times. There were 2 waiters for a very full main bar and sunset lounge. we also booked 2 a la carte meals and the service (same waitress) was bad on both occasions. arrived as per booking to be told “they trying to close”, waiter 10 mins for a coffee at breakfast then had no milk, sugar or teaspoon. also told all the food would have to come out at the one time “as they were trying to close”. I wanted to come earlier but that was the time they gave me 🤷‍♀️. however the food and service at the main buffet was amazing.

The staff are all amazing and so friendly! We checked in and was greeted with a freshly squeezed lemonade and a flannel to freshen up, we then upgraded our room to a private pool room which was fanstastic! Rooms were a great size and always very clean. Food was good, the Italian a La carte was delicious. Beach bar with burgers, hotdogs and drinks for during the day, and a treat hit with ice cream, pancakes and waffles. Definitely more than what we expected, would 100% recommend and stay agaib

If your ground floor and your room is by a maids closet it is a little noisy in the mornings, if you like your lie ins you will be woken by them in the mornings but it doesn’t usually last too long

Liked the arrival/reception! The location is great for kitesurfers, the normal beach easily accessible with plenty sunbeds. Staff is super friendly. The food is good and with plenty of options; however I would definitely recommend going into town for some real Greek restaurants!

The pool is quickly full of 'towel-reserved' seats if you're not there by 9 am (classic all-in issue?). Orders at the bar or the creperie/beach bar could take a very long time. The restaurant & buffet are feeling a bit crowded at moments.

The staff were so friendly and hardworking. Smiling constantly. They couldn't do enough. The food was fabulous, a wonderful, plentiful selection. Minibar stocked all the time. Towels for the pool were fantastic quality. Hotel was spotless.

The location of the hotel means it has a windy aspect. That can make it feel slightly cooler. However, I'm sure in hot summer months extremely welcome. That said, we are all going home healthy, fatter, and bronzed.

The staff around the reception and bars was very nice. We asked for a quiet and renovated room. Especially the brunch was very good and the staff there very lovely!

The food in the restaurant is not the best. The restaurant is very vrowded and staff there is not friendly and very stressed. The wine and drinks in general were not that good. The beach is super rocky, so getting in and out of the water is very inconvenient.
