Taz Kamar Family Hotel

The location was central and very convenient for my stay. There were alot of options for food nearby and also for shopping in T.Nagar area. Absolutely recommend to friends and family. I will be returning to stay here again when back.

The fridge needs to be cleaned properly as the edges were a bit dirty as shown in the photos.

Buffet breakfast good option to choose from. Every day is slightly different. The staff were constantly on their toes. Making sure that items got topped up. Courteous, polite, and prompt in serving. Very helpful staff. Good size superior rooms with fridge and electric kettle and two 500 ml complimentary water bottle. AC worked fantastically. Every day room service was provided. Bed linen, towels, soap and shampoo were provided. Do bring your own conditioner. Good strong consistent signal of Wifi.

The last night we had mosquito bites in the room. ( First 4 days were fine). The toilet was not flushing properly which was reported.

Best Hotel near T Nagar City. Very cleaned Room. Very kindly Receptionist Frontoffice Staffs,,Housekeeping and everyone there. Mr. Abduhl Front Staff is also very very nice and kindly Person. We stays 6 days. He took our 8 big Luggage Allways up and down Allways. He was very kindly. I lost one of our bag outside. One lady was trying to take my bag, thank god, Abdul took my bag from that lady and gave us.That was So nice of him. Allways very friendly to us,. everyone ryone was 24 hours there to help us. They remind us for breakfast.We was very happy to stay in this hotel( like family hotel). From the hotel to the city don’t need an Auto or car, you can go by walk. Breakfast was nice. I hv no words. 10 to 10. excellent… Keep it up 👍 Thank you for everything. If we come to Chennai we will come again and stay in your hotel. Thank you again Abdul. 😍

Nice family suite accomodations. Most importantly the AC in the rooms were great. We were able to cool off after a summer day of excursions. Hotel restaurant is decent and has a varied menu. Location is in prime shopping area of T Nagar so lots to see and many restaurants within walking distance.

Auto drivers stalking the guests outside the door is annoying. City is building a metro line through T Nagar so getting in and out by car can be delayed. Add 20 mins to any timing for car services.

One of highly recommended Hotel for you to stay if you plan shopping near T. Nagar. Most convenient place, just walk distances to T. Nagar shopping complex or shops. And the hospitality given by Hotel Staffs is overwhelming. Special Thanks Mr. Mathialaghzhan (People call him Mathi) who help me during check -in, carry my luggage and Very friendly person and Female Supervisor who do room checking (sorry i don't remember her name). Both person very Friendly and Helpful. Overall i felt very secure and very comfortable staying this hotel for 2 nights. and not to forget, Those stay here do remember to take pitch of taste Murugan Panniyaram stall just few steps outside of this hotel lobby. His Stall Hot Panniyaram with sambar is superb tasty and Hot vegetable clear Soup too good.

The breakfast was superb according to my taste. The staff made breakfast call as a reminder. The room was a bit small but really clean and tidy as per my expectation. Overall satisfied with the hotel as it is located near shopping centers. Prime location. I enjoyed my stay and also the food available for lunch and dinner in the hotel.

This was our second stay here during our 7 week holiday in Southern India - a great base to start and end the vacation! spotlessly clean, helpful staff and great location close to a local train station.

On our second visit we couldn’t get hot water for our shower, despite leaving the water to run for some time - the shower lever appeared faulty, so this might be the reason. We were only staying for one night and were leaving for the airport before breakfast on this second visit so didn’t mention it to the staff, who I am sure would have been proactive in their response

Bathroom is well ventilated and clean. Complimentary breakfast was fair enough. Food prices were relatively nominal. Fan was also available in addition to AC.

24 hr check in/out not available. The explanation given was in favour of frequent fliers. Probably most of the customers are coming from south eastern countries. But, I don't understand why 24 he chkin/out wouldn't be favorable to them as well. Even grace hours were very less... actually they offered only 30 min when I pressed for it.

Handy location for shopping. Walking distance to the central shopping area of Tnagar. Well respected and excellent customer service. Delicious breakfast Quick response to our queries Comfortable vehicle & driver for the airport transport

One person at reception not showing a positive approach. He needs further training, apart from all good.

This is a very decent hotel located in T-Nagar. It is most suitable for shopping trips and perhaps working trips although traffic can get heavy since it is located in the heart of the shopping area of T-Nagar. The rooms were clean, with all amenities provided. Heater and air-conditioner were well maintained. The bed was comfortable too. In short, I will definitely be back.

There was no in-house restaurant, so room service was not available. Breakfast was tasty but limited. However, given the price that we are paying, I should not be grumbling.
