The furniture in the dining table is not suitable for dining. It's very heavy and very low. As they are settee. Suitable for lounges. The staff agreed. The rooms are outdated. It's a 35 yrs old building but their room charges are beyond 5*hotel rates. The only advantage is the views and cleanliness but since some floor tiles replacement going on the dust is quite a challenge when you walk down, as the doors kept opening. Rooms aren't big but reasonable size. And must have half board isn't really good since I would like to to eat before 6.30pm.

This property is a good one. It is a 4 star property, not the typical hotel chains like you may have the habit of living in but still a good one. The hotel staff is courteous. It is a riverside property and they have an entrance to the ghat if one wishes to take a dip in the holy water of ganga. This property has a small jacuzi in the gazibo area and one needs to book the slot to use it as it is a shared utility. It is a good enough utility for 4-5 poeple at a time with a couple recliners besides it. The rooms - however everything was functional. The view from the rooms - it is a side view of the river, with two rooms on each floor having a front view of the river. In my opinion the rooms are a little over priced for the quality of the rooms. Their dining area is spacious and can accomodate about 40-50 people in round tables. The breakfast was buffet and okay and could have been better in terms of variety. We called for in room dining during the late hours and they had a limited menu to serve us. They too have a spa in their property. I did not use the spa facilities however it's price eqiuvalent to those of a were of 5 star property. It is a 20-25 min drive from Ram jhula and 10 min drive from the rishikesh market. All in all, the stay was comfortable but not out the world. Considering that rishikesh is a small tourist place, i think it should be better than most other places around it.

The jacuzi - It is visible from the rooms which directly face the river and thus at times can be an issue of privacy considering you are booking the slots for it's use. The rooms - yes they were slightly old. In my opinion the rooms are a little over priced for the quality of the rooms. The breakfast - could have been better in terms of variety.

Lovely staff with one exception,; Excellent retreat destination ig you stay on their grouds and walk along the riverside. If you want more open space/hiking,, this is not the place to stay -- too close to Rishikesh congestion

They tried to put me in a "180 degree river view room" that had absolutely NO PRIVACY. It was directly facing a public jacuzzi. Very disappointing. Shame on the management! Yet, despite much mildly irritating resistance from the front desk and after my firm rejection of the assigned room, they moved me to a partial river view but private room.

The family room is ideal for a family of four and the rooms have decent views also. The property has a private ghat and temple where one gets to witness Ganga Aarti. The food spread is good and the staff are also very helpful as they provided Jain food for my wife on our request. River rafting and Ram jhula are nearby approx 30 minutes from hotel by car. There is a small jacuzzi pool which needs to be booked early incase one wants to use it and also they have a fantastic yoga session in morning.

The hotel's location next to the Ganges River made it a top pick. The riverside walkway and special access to the river Ganga for the sacred dip was another high point of the tay. In addition, they had a pleasant staff that responded quickly to requests.

The recreation space can be improved. A greater interval between serving high tea and dinner. A replacement for the noisy fan outside the restaurant that overlooked Ganga. The loud fan disrupted the peace of the area.

Excellent picturesque location,peaceful serine atmosphere,breakfast spread lot of variety Indian as well as middle eastern too.

I have observation on safety aspects 1) Bathroom shower area shall be provided with grab handle and non slip mat under the shower particularly for senior citizens it's must 2) Staircase area behind lift area shall be better illuminated and first step shall have warning tape pasted to avoid any mis stepping for visitors using stair case instead of lift. Also if somebody enters from garden side to the lift lobby there is a huge wall mounted shelf from the wall is hitting the head of visitor, it shold be marked with RED TAPE to warn of of hazard of head injury. Hopefully management will take appropriate corrective action which will be visible during my next visit. Thanks

Amazing view from the rooms and restaurant. Right at the river , in front of the Ghat. Lots of activities to do like jacuzzi,recreational room for kids. Ganga snaan at the ghat and attend Arati. Both breakfast and dinner was superb. Amazing food. Just that the location is little far from major attractions. But otherwise overall everything is good. Will definitely recommend and go there again

Room was very nice although a bit on the pricey side for what it was. Staff were excellent, food pretty good. The spa however left a bit to be desired as it was not really a spa, more just massage rooms in the basement.

The spa was just average and there were many better ones in the town. My massage was one of the worst I have had and it was also expensive at nearly $100.

Premium room with 18o degree ganga view had an excellent view of the river. Room was very clean. Staff courteous and very helpful. Excellent service. Good choice of food

Dining hall should have proper dining tables and chairs. Sitting on a sofa while eating is rather uncomfortable. And in spite of all the excellent service I think it was a bit overpriced.

The location was blissful and the view was mesmerizing. The food was delicious and nutritious. Overall, it was an awesome experience. What I liked most is the hospitality. The staff really makes the guests feel at home, especially Indira ji, Preeti at the reception, and Balwant at the Jal Jalebi dining hall. The complimentary yoga and meditation classes were also great. The experience of daily morning and evening Ganga aarti by the river is divine!

I wish there were railings to climb down to the basement for the spa. It is not an easy climb up and down the stairs for those with mobility issues. Also, I wish there were some special musical soiree during the Diwali evening. Generally, there is an accomplished flutist, who plays music during breakfast and dinner. Really missed this live performance on Diwali day. Guess the flutist, who plays daily needed a holiday. But, it would have been good to make some alternative live music arrangements & green fireworks by the river to enliven the Diwali celebrations for the guests.
