Katamaran Hotel & Resort

The room, location, and service the resort offered. All staff members were friendly and helpful and we were constantly greeted wherever we went. The Cliff restaurant was the best restaurant I have eaten from in all of Indonesia so far and would highly recommend it!

There is very little that I didn't like as I would recommend anyone to go to it if they are in Lombok. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the location of the resort was far from all of our day activities. One of our activities was going to Pink Beach and that alone was a 2-hour drive followed by a 30-minute boat ride. I didn't mind it as I had nothing else to do and enjoyed every moment.

Amazing pool! View from room excellent. Excellent breakfast. Gym very good for a hotel. Clean room. Staff on reception very friendly and attentive.

Would be nice to have a bath in a 5 star hotel however shower was very good!! Cliff restaurant on the pricey side. Drinks very very expensive- double any other 5 star resort we stayed at in Bali. Would sell much more by just reducing the price to be in line with their other competitors. For example- Coke Zero is 6000 in the shop, in other nice hotels we stayed in were 25000 but here were 45000.

The hotel is just by the beach.the room are spacious and clean.the restaurants for the breakfast is faces the sea. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

The initial room we had (1307) was a bit old the toilet tab was not polished and fell off. We thought that was a leak from the toilet bowl however upon inspection it was a mystery where the leak was coming from. We also smell piss and saw drops of piss on the toilet bowl that clearly was not ours. U can see at the pic We suspect the room is haunted. *Note: staff were very helpful swift us to a new room immediately. At the end the new room was fabulous 🤩

Amazing breakfast and pools Even though only 1 restaurant there was plenty to choose from, and all food freshly made The staff at the hotel are what makes this place special. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. And there are so many people behind the scenes looking after the place to keep it clean. They even smoke out the mosquitos during rainy season!

There’s little to do at this hotel if you aren’t planning on any outside day trips. I wouldn’t call this a resort, there’s no activities run, no library, no games area, nothing that’s free apart from the gym and pool. Would have expected more from a 5 star resort.

Almost everything...from the friendly staff (special mentioned Tari the receptionist), polite, smiley, smart. Location is good even not excellent, the glass walled swimming pool is beautiful. The property is well maintained. For sure, will be back for another stay.

The bed cover was smelly. Plea se put more attention on the cleanliness of the bed sheet and cover.

Everything about the hotel was amazing ❤️ Staff very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food was good quality the menu at both restaurants were very good catered for our family of 4 adults and 2 children everybody was happy. Prices were fair for both room service and restaurants. Villa and hotel room both were very spacious and clean

The only thing I can comment on was hotel staff at spa didn’t speak or understand English which was a shame as around the hotel all other staff were able to communicate fluently. Also prices were pretty high and no discounts if you were booking many treatments.

We absolutely loved everyone and everything! We highly recommend staying at Katamaran. Our beach front room was like a honeymoon! We will remember forever. Thankyou

The staff are amazing hospitality done right, they helped with every query. Our room was beautiful, garden to the room was maintained every day. We met the manager who was down to earth and was lovely to speak to, from check in to check out we were treated with up most respect, we felt like royalty. The staff were always smiling and just so welcoming, took the time to teach us the local language which we appreciated. The grounds are so well kept everyone is always working so hard,the gardeners took time to have a chat every morning morning, such beautiful people.

The sellers on the beach, totally understand out of the control of the hotel, some days felt could not relax on the deck to eat breakfast without being stared at or asked to buy something. But a firm and polite no thanks stopped the harassment.

the design of the resort was great with lots of water features. we had a family room and it was very spacious. the spa is incredible and good value for money. there was a separate gluten free menu. location looking over the sea is great. beautiful. gym is great and good to run looking at the ocean.

breakfast options were a bit limited for gluten free but that was experience every where we went. the website isn’t great for information on the resort and I thought yoga would be available free. it was paid for and quite pricey. also thought bikes were available but these were scooters and I would not recommend using them as roads were very hilly. it wasn’t possible to do a long beach walk in that area. you had to go back on busy roads. we were on ground floor in the newer building and suffered a bit with noise from other occupants. the food in the Sail restaurant wasn’t great it was ok and we went to the kliff which was good but we went to other resort restaurants which were better. particularly the qunci villas where they have a few themed buffets each week.

Perfect pool area, spacious rooms, rooms not too moldy when ac is on. Very comfortable bed and comfortable sun beds. Sunset view from rooms and pool is amazing.

Hectic breakfast, it would be better if the breakfast time would be extended a little, for example to 11:30. then people divide up better. Extremely large selection, vegetarian dishes are not labeled, difficult for Europeans as many dishes are not known. We stayed in this hotel for a total of a week and our coffee order wasn't delivered twice, on the other days it worked perfectly. Food and drinks at the bar are too expensive during the day compared with other hotels in Lombok. Not really any other option around.
