Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport

The view was great got to see the planes coming and going that was the main purpose of our trip to celebrate my 40th the blond ladie behind the front dest that was there the first day we arrived was very friendly and helpful alonge with her male manager that was there on the second night don't know there names ...the bar staff were extremely friendly the waitress was brilliant with us the chef was lovely too

The 2 dark haired ladies behind the desks were very rude. Every day we had to get the key reset we would get to the room and have to walk back to reception to get it reset witch was a pain .the WiFi to the TV never worked in the room .overall enjoyed our star would start again hopefully the key situation will be fixed when we come back

We came in on a very late delayed flight from Edinburgh for a one-night stay. The hotel is located just across from the airport. It was very convenient, especially at that hour of the night. The receptionist was very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommend..

No one at the airport knew where the hotel was located. We drove around looking for it and finally realized it was just across the parking lot from the airport. Not the hotel's fault, but maybe the airport staff needs to be more aware of what is located around them to help travelers.

The location is the best! It is practically in the parking lot of Shannon airport. There is a foot step guide showing you how to walk from their front door (where there are usually free luggage carts for you to use) to the arrivals/departures at the airport. They have a great bar/restaurant that serves food late. The rooms are spacious and the rain shower bathroom shower has great pressure. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. There is a table in the lobby with grab and go breakfast for people with extra early departures.

No AC in the property. This isn’t usually an issue except during this summer when Ireland had a month long heatwave.

Great location right across from the departure terminal at Shannon airport. There was no discernible noise from departing and arriving planes. They provide free parking. However, this is not really necessary if you are returning a rental car, which can be done right across the street in the arrivals terminal.

There is no elevator to the third floor where our room was. Luckily we are in good enough shape to carry our heavy suitcase upstairs. Ask for a room on the floor where the elevator goes.

Closest location to the SNN gates. Whether you're arriving or leaving from Shannon this is a gem. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and take every step necessary to make sure you are happy. Bar/Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the Beef Stew was exceptional. 2 minutes to rental car drop-off so the location will make your departure go smoothly. A good friend (native Irishman) that lives in the U.S. recommended it for our last night and he was absolutely correct.

There was nothing negative to report.

The location is fantastic! I was able to return my rental car the night before my flight, walk back to the hotel, and then easily walk my luggage on a trolley to the airport the next day. Made traveling alone easy peasy!

I do think more than 20 minutes parking for free to unload your luggage before returning your rental car would be more fair, especially for people traveling alone. 30 minutes free would be fair. I had to pay even though I hustled to check in, bring in all my luggage by myself, quickly use the restroom in my room, and then get back out to return my rectal car. Also, my room was impeccable EXCEPT for mold/mildew on the ceiling above the shower and in the caulking around the shower floor. I did not encounter this at any other hotel in Ireland, including older hotels, so can’t blame it on the climate.

Cleanliness, could walk to airport after turning in rental car (we decided to turn in rental car the next morning instead), restaurant's pizza was very good, staff were pleasant and efficient, bed was comfortable

Had to move (heavy) desk/dresser to access outlet behind it as the only one available (position wise) to plug in the fan which was needed because there was no air conditioning in room (okay for March) but can't imagine what it would be like in the summer months with the humidity.

You can literally walk to and from the airport! I thought I would hear airplane noise but I heard nothing. You can take the bus to most places from the Shannon airport which saves quite a bit of money. For example, you can go to Limerick for 6 euros on the bus, a trip that costs 40 euros in a taxi. The busses make change (you can use cash - don't have to have a ticket) and the drivers are very helpful and friendly. Also, if you are flying in or out of Shannon, I would recommend you book your last night at this hotel. Early in the morning on the day of my return flight to the US, I received a text notification that my connecting flight in Newark, New Jersey had been cancelled at the last minute, but because I was so close to the airport, I was able to rebook my entire flight schedule to take advantage of an early morning flight back to the US. I actually got home 4 hours earlier!

it was a very nice hotel, but the best thing about it was its location. We were able to return our rental car the night before our flight, and walk back to the hotel, which took about two minutes. And, the next morning all we had to do was walk less than five minutes to the departure area of Shannon airport. It was perfect! We also ate at the bar/restaurant at the hotel when we were there. The food was very good.

the property is located across the small parking lot at the Shannon airport and couldn’t get any closer and convenient. the hotel has airport trolleys at hand to roll your luggage right to the airport check-in. we left our luggage on the trolley overnight in our room as we had a very early flight the next morning. staff was super helpful. car return is right there also. well done Radisson Shannon. .
