We are staying the night before our cruise. Location was slightly further out than some but not a problem as a shuttle to the port was arranged for us. Expensive but took us right into port so was worth it in our opinion. We arrived at 10.30pm and there was no one there to greet us but we had all the access codes so no problem. Communal areas and bedrooms were clean and of a high standard. Air conditioning worked well, needed in Rome in August! Met staff in the morning and they were lovely. They didn't speak much English but we managed to communicate just fine :). Would definitely recomment

Breakfast was very basic. Food left out and it was so hot so not ideal. No great issue though as we ate when were got onto the ship

Very clean. Good shower. Breakfast was better than expected. We arrived quite tired from our long ferry ride from Barcelona so the location of the hotel in relation to the port was welcome. The proximity of the pizza joint on the corner was good since I had no desire to drive somewhere for dinner. Our only mistake was taking it back to the hotel to eat--in retrospect, it would have been better to eat it in the pizzeria since it was a loud, chaotic, and fun scene.

While I appreciated being able to park the car behind a locked gate, I don't think we needed to be charged for something that did not cost the hotel anything. That said, the charge was no surprise.

My personal experience at Guesthouse Porto DI Roma was wonderful!!! As we arrived after a long and exhausting itinerary including flight, train and local bus , and once we got into the large , modern , pleasantly designed room with a large balcony overlooking the city and also the Sea , we were taken by surprise by Tiziana who brought us a plate with some food, fruits and some refreshing drinks…. that was the cherry on top!!!! Exactly what we needed!!!! Next morning at breakfast we were able to meet Mr. Filippo ( the owner) . It was a real pleasure to personally meet him and definitely to have the opportunity to stay in his location ( beautiful inside and outside)!!!!! Thank you 🙏🏻!

This guesthouse is modern, clean and comfortable. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us by arranging transport from our hotel in Rome to his guesthouse in Civitavecchia. He also made sure we had reliable transport from the guesthouse to the cruise terminal so we arrived in plenty of time. It was shockingly inexpensive to stay here, certainly relative to the quality and comfort.

This guesthouse is not located within walking distance of some of the better restaurants in the city so you have to rely on taxi service. We waited 40 mins for a car that simply didn’t show up, causing us to miss our reservation. So, we ended up eating twice at Ideale Ristorante (just a 7-10 min walk from the guesthouse) and enjoyed their beautiful patio and sunset view of the water.

The property was spotless clean, the room was huge as was the bathroom, we were in room 201, with a balcony and a view on the sea. The host Monia, was exceptionally helpful, with suggestions for restaurants in the neighbourhood, taxis , the most helpful. Restaurant Grotto Aurelia only 200 meters from the property is so fantastic, couple that with the the guest house and exceptional host, the stay was a 10 out of 10 for us..

Guesthouse Porto di Roma was fabulous. Very clean rooms and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, they even accomodated us with serving an earlier breakfast since we had a tour scheduled earlier in the morning, without hesitation. Definitely would stay there if ever giving the opportunity to get back. Fantastic accommodations!

the bed was very comfortable and firm which is a plus for me. we arrived very late by train and the owner met us there with a taxi. The coffee this morning was superb-we slept in so no breakfast but the facilities for the spread looked wonderful. Then she also performed a miracle to get a taxi for us when none were available this morning so we were on time for cruise ship. highly recommend

The staff was over the top helpful directing us to a fairly priced car service from the airport, got an appointment in town for my mani-pedi and directed us to a laundromat near that.

We didn’t have a car and other than a great pizza place across the street there was nothing to see or do. If you don’t have your own car, I’d recommend staying at their Hotel IN town

The staff was really kind and helpful. Clear instructions how to enter the premises. Breakfast was simple, but I think that everybody can choose. Room clean and big enough.

Parking inside the premises could be a challenge for the driver if there are more cars inside. Our room was just opposite of a small restaurant, so quite noisy in the evening.

Upon Arrival the Team and especially Monia treated us with a warm welcome. They knew we were travelling since early morning and gave us food and drinks to refresh. They helped us with a transfer to the Cruise Terminal and back to the airport. The team was super with recommendations for close by restaurants.
