Location was fantastic easy walk around historical centre. Comfortable beds good sized bedroom. Facilities included a small kitchen area with table and chairs for eating. Air conditioning was much appreciated in the warm weather. Great shower, with bath and some small toiletries provided. Fabulous terrace with comfortable couch and chairs to enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine. Some views to the Valle d’Itria. Individual service from the manager with a little history as he walked us to the apartment. Excellent breakfast included meat, bread, cereal, pastries just to mention a few! Special mention to the waitress in the breakfast room who remembered our coffee orders and had them ready just after we sat down. Availability’s of free parking in a large car park across the road from the old town. Loved the decor!

Steps! Lots of steps and hills to negotiate, be prepared if you have knee, hip problems. Whilst we were able to negotiate our wheeled suitcases on the streets it was still hard work getting them up the steps of the apartment. ( we are aged 62, 65 and 72). The small couch in the kitchen wasn’t the most comfortable. Wifi signal wasn’t very strong.

Roberto was there to greet us at reception when we arrived. He walked us to our apartment and showed us where the breakfast would be in the morning. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, the food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. The apartment was up some steep stairs so if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. But nonetheless the apartment was lovely. The bathroom had a fairly large vanity and a mirror that pulled out. This was great for applying makeup. The kitchen had a couch. It was nice to have an area to sit after a long day out. It also had a balcony overlooking a playing field. It was in the centre of the old town and just a few steps to great restaurants. It had free parking at a lot nearby and we never had any problems getting in after day trips. Roberto provided incredible service and offered great suggestions on things to do in the area and was at reception in the morning and evening to answer any questions you might have. Roberto and this property exceeded our expectations. An unexpected bonus was the daily cleaning. We would highly recommend

The playing field across the street was lit up at night so people were playing sports late into the evening, one night until 1:30 am. We closed the patio doors and ran the air conditioner which muffled most of the noise and clapping.

Locorotondo .. possibly one of the nicest villages I have spent time in and the property just added to it . Wonderful experience . The property had mosh everything that is needed for a stay in a unique location . We had two double rooms , both with tv , a kitchen , and shower facilities . Right outside the door we had the shirt stroll to the centre on top of the full and the square where you can sit to watch the sun go down .. a truly traditional stay in a great place , excellent breakfast and service from all the staff .

The host was very helpful and nice, exceptionally so. Everything was neat and clean. The suite was in an house separate from the reception, looking very traditional and cute. The rooms were well heated all the way to the towel rack (the only place during our tour late April). The stone walls and a vaulted cealing gives a wonderful atmosphere. Free parking was available close by. Friday night/Saturdays no parking on the piazza nearby (market day), but we had no problem finding parking, as our host told where to park. This has been the nicest place to stay for a long time, it’s a shame we not staying for longer. I can whole heartedly recommend this little hotel. If we’ll ever return, this is where we’ll stay.

We were so happy, that I needed to really think to find something I didn’t like. Well, maybe that the reception charges for early check-in. Didn’t bother us much, but this is the only thing I could think I didn’t like.

Our stay at Albergo Diffuso Sotto le Cummerse surpassed our expectations, everything was perfect. The room, more so apartment, we were in was beautiful and spacious (#14 if I recall correctly). Our bed was huge/confortable with a lot of space in the room. We also had a separate area with a kitchenette and sofa. Best part was also having a balcony with a beautiful view, you can have a glass of wine there. Breakfast in the morning was just a 1 minute walk and very good. They refilled our waters each day. Highly highly recommend.

To start with, Locorotondo is a gem and makes a perfect base to explore Puglia and beyond, as most points of interest are within 90 minutes easy drive. Accommodations are in traditional houses, full of charm and character. Just be aware that this is not the best choice for people with mobility problems, given the steep stairs connecting the different floors.No car traffic or bars around , clean, quiet and relaxing. The view from our terrace was a picture perfect little street where a tasty breakfast was also served. Many very good restaurants within 2-4 minutes walking. Free parking lot nearby.

The location of our apartments (we were 5 so had two different apartments) was right in the centre of Locorotondo. Roberto, our host, showed us around the apartments and was helpful and very friendly. One of the apartments was a two bedroom ground floor unit, the other (also two bedroom) was up some steps and on two floors - the top floor had very steep steps - definitely not suited for people with mobility issues) - and there was a fantastic terrace up another floor. Both apartments were spotlessly clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and bedroom slippers. I highly recommend these places and would definitely stay here again.

I can only say that I regret not having stayed here for more than 1 night!!!!!

Amazing neighborhood, very central. The apartment was cute and cozy with a nice private little patio with a gorgeous view. the weather was unusually cold for the time of year, but the apartment had a good heating system so we were very comfortable the whole time. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, full of choices and was replenished often. The staff person that checked us in was more than helpful and very friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations.

Really nice and spacious room. Had our own private access from the alley. Breakfast was really nice, friendly service.

Between our room and the one adjacent, there was a partition which is not properly sealed off - the top part is made of glass and a locked interconnecting door. This meant that throughout our stay and night the light from our neighbours lit up our room, and they were very noisy and loud, making it hard for us to rest or sleep. Both the external door and the locked interconnecting door also rattled loudly with the wind.

The location was excellent and Locorotondo is such a magical town to visit. The apartment was super clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and slippers - just like in a 5 star hotel! Breakfast was in a location nearby.

The apartment was in the pedestrian historical centre of Locorotondo, so parking was in a big square opposite the reception room. There was about a 5 minute walk to get to the apartment - this didn't bother us but should be pointed out to people with reduced mobility.
