Park Hotel San Michele

Breakfast was continental buffet which was acceptable. My one complaint was you had to be served coffee & tea by staff & when it was busy it could be quite a wait. We would like to have had tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We ate in restaurant several times in the evening both food & wine were delicious & very reasonably priced Our bedroom & bathroom were both very big & comfortable. The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of the city, the pool & gardens were beautiful, I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially if your driving as it’s very unusual to have good parking facilities in middle of city. The staff were wonderful.🤵🏻😊

It would have been nice to have a bar, we had to ask staff at the front desk for drinks.

This was a great location for a visit to Martina Franca. It is about 10 minutes walk away from the old city, and the actual hotel surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Lush greenery, fountains, swimming pool, one could easily spend a few hours experiencing just the hotel by itself. The room itself was exactly as described. Spacious, with a comfortable bed, with the water pressure and temperature for the shower high.. Breakfast was really good, with the pastries being amazing, and coffee of your choice handmade by a barista in a dedicated coffee station. All in all, a perfect visit!

We loved this hotel! Yes, as some people have mentioned, it is a little dated but we felt that was part of its charm. It had character. We had an enormos bedroom with balcony overlooking the gardens and the pool. ALL the staff were so friendly, kind and welcoming. The breakfast was fabulous with a lot of choices. The pool and pool area was beautiful but unfortunately the weather was poor when we were there so we did not get to enjoy it. The hotel is a 10 minute easy and pleasant walk from the lovely town of Martina Franca which we also loved.

Lovely room overlooking the pool. Old style hotel but very clean. No complaints from us, comfy bed, good shower and very friendly staff. Pool was good for swimming with a good deep end, Great location too.

Nothing to complain about really but some of the sunbeds could do with being updated. No Parasols so tricky to find shade at pool area when busy. The hotel is in spacious grounds so the gardener with his leaf blower can be annoying although he tried to keep it to a minimum. Wi-Fi is ok within the hotel but you will not pick it up at the pool. These though are just minor observations and did not impact on us greatly.

Very central location but at the same time quiet with very nice gardens, well taken care of. Very relaxing stay. Very good breakfast with the tables located outdoor in a really relaxing atmosphere. Extremely clean hotel with ladies receptionists particularly friendly and avalaible as well as the maids and the waiters at breakfast. Good value for money

Male receptionists not friendly at all, as well as the gardener. Never greeted me. Only busy at their job. Quite disappointing! Just a simple”good morning or a good evening” makes a lot of difference

while the hotel in some ways is a little dated we enjoyed our stay here. The staff were helpful whenever we asked questions with the breakfast staff exceptional as was the terrace where we had our wonderful breakfasts. Great views of the city from our room and the aircon was quiet when sleeping.

Only a little grumble here. The shower cubicle is very small so when showering you need to be a contortionist to not get a shock from the cold glass or hitting the mixer handle which turned off the water, and neither my wife or I are big people. Also the soap dispensers did not like to give up soap as the plungers stuck.

The hotel exceeded all expectation. Maybe a bit "retro" from the outside but be sure, there is nothing you would miss here. Great breakfast, very friendly staff. Having a swimming pool is huge bonus. We arrived on a very warm afternoon and plunged right into the pool! :) Towels provided. It is very close to old town. The courtyard is something out of a movie. You can totally picture huge weddings here. Looks so romantic. The hotel should display its history somewhere in the hall. I am sure it is interesting.

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were lovely, so helpful and very friendly. The hotel has pretty gardens and a nice pool which was great in the heat! It is in a great location for sightseeing and travelling around and Martina Franca is a lively town with lots of lovely restaurants.

I liked everything!

Nice view of the city from the 4th floor. Room small but functional. Better than average breakfast spread. Only a short walk from the town's historic district. Located in a quiet private park. Ample private parking.

Running toilet needed the attention of a plumber. Shower was miniscule even for Italy (so much so that it was difficult to even turn around without inadvertently turning off the water).

The staff, the dimensions of the room, the breakfast and the location of the hotel are all great. There is a nice garden and pool. And the beds are really comfy.

The bathroom size it's okay. But not the shower. The room is really good, even with a closet area. But the shower it's tiny. Just remove the bidet and increase shower area.
