Spotlessly clean; large, airy room; comfortable bed; soft bathroom towels; excellent choice of pastries, cakes, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, jams, fruits, small pancakes & maple syrup for breakfast. Impressed that the guy supervising breakfast thoroughly cleaned tables and chairs between diners. The B&B, which is made up of two adjacent houses and situated in a quiet road, was easy to find and it was very good to have parking on the premises behind the two houses. This property was good value considering the above and also that it is only five minutes easy walk to the nearest gate in the town walls. And Lucca is a delight.

I love this place,good location+facilities,super clean and has a rich breakfast. The team of villa great me everyday during the breakfast time and we have a little chat just like I was at home with family. They let me to choose a room for staying 6 nights and prepared my favorite fruit. I felt the care and kindness. I'd like to highly recommend this place for one wants to travel to Lucca.

I write this not for criticizing but for improving the quality of the service,although they've done really good. The last night during the 12:30am,my door was be opened by the new guest who just arrived. I was shocked,shocked,shocked and couldnt sleep all night for the lacking of security. There are two villa and each of them has the same number of rooms. The new guest had a same number but in the other villa. I was wondering why their key can open the front door of my villa and also my room. I hope the hotel will take this casa very serious and change the way to manage these keys. But I will still choose this place when I bring my family back to Lucca. It is a super good place to spend some days.

Best place we’ve stayed in Italy. This B&B is a must go to, and I’m sure we will come back when we next come to Lucca. We came as a family of 3 with a baby/toddler and they allowed us early check in to help with our child’s sleep routine. On arrival reception had cold drinks, coffee/tea and snacks, did not expect it but was so thoughtful and very much appreciated in the heat. The room was spacious, cot was provided in great condition, air con was cool and the bed super comfy. The location was perfect, just outside the walls of Lucca which gave us a nice cool breeze the city didn’t allow, and also super close to Lidl for grocery needs. The buffet breakfast was to die for! So many fresh yummy foods that helped our little one get a good feed as she can be picky first thing, most places with breakfast provided we’ve needed to bring things for her to eat, this has everything and sooo yummy from pastries to pancakes, cold meets, cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, toast, yoghurt and an array of cereals, as well as tea, coffee and juice! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, allowing us a slightly later check out also as we lost track of time in Lucca the day of departure. Couldn’t speak or suggest more highly, thank you thank you thank you!

Very good breakfast , fresh coffee, croissants, and all the wonderful delights of a good Italian breakfast. We ate in a nice little breakfast room downstairs , clean and quiet with helpful staff. Clean rooms and plenty of soaps etc. Good AC. Our rooms were at the top floor of the building with a balcony. We had stayed previously in Villla Lucrezia, which is situated on the other side of the garden, in July. The same staff run both accomodations. Elizabetta is very welcoming and remembered us from our visit in July.

One of the bedrooms with the balcony would benefit from a long mirror and a tall table to put things on/ shelves. The adjoining was well kitted out. Steps and stirs may be a problem for some. Staff will help with luggage if you ask. But bedrooms are available on ground floor , I think.

The location is just outside the walls of the old city, but close enough to go back for a rest mid afternoon if need be. The breakfast was excellent and the staff preparing it were very friendly. You can eat in or out. The room is simple, but has a kettle – no fridge or safe. Good shower.

I was in room 1, which is right by the door where everyone come in and out. It makes a super loud click when it unlocks and then again when the door closes. People came back around midnight. Also, you can hear the people above. I would stay again, but on the top floor.

Nice location, easy walk to the historic part of Lucca, close to the train station. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious and good variety, espresso coffee was an option. There are no fridges in the rooms but when we asked, they provided us with a small one the second day of our stay. Daily cleaning and change of towels. There was a reception area. Nice stay overall. We would recommend this place.

A couple nights we could hear some noise from other guests above us. Parking was small for bigger cars.

We know the best parts of Lucca are inside the city walls, do not be put off by the fact this is outside. It is just five minutes to the city, so very close, it has parking which is useful for those with luggage, much easier than some of the accommodation inside the walls. The rooms were tasteful, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. We were only there for one night but came away wishing we'd stayed longer. Breakfast was perfect.

From the time you arrived you were greeted by friendly staff who showed you to your room. Everything about this place was of high quality. Room clean and comfortable. Toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was just amazing had everything you wanted. One of staff made you coffee of your choice every morning. The accommodation was just outside the walls 5 min walk then inside. 10-15 min walk from train station. Will be coming back

Check in was easy, communication before we arrived was very helpful. Grounds for the Villas were very pleasant. Breakfast was varied and fresh and tasty. All the staff members were friendly and helpful.

I had to pay 10 euros extra in room taxes over and above what Booking.com said it would be. There were 6 of us, so it was not a major issue, but I would have thought that Booking.com should have known about the increase.

The B&B is situated on a lovely quiet street of villas, with a beautiful garden where you can have a great breakfast, with lots of options. Room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very nice and polite and the distance to one of the main entrances to the old city center is less than 5 minutes walking.

It’s an old villa with no soundproofing for windows, walls, doors. If you are a light sleeper, you might be waken up by noisy children in other rooms or trash trucks at 6:00 AM.
