Hotel De Plam

The location was great. Museum and Pier Port across the Street. Port view from our bedroom. pharmacy and Supermarket around the corner. Restaurants and more just two blocks away. Very short walk to Bus. Location was great for someone who doesnt have a car. Staff very friendly, especially the ladies in the Gastronomy Area ( breakfast time)

Furniture need to be upgraded, but it was ok. I could live with that. It didn’t bother me at all.

We arrived on a late flight and the location was easy to drive to. We spent one night here before driving to other parts of the island. The room was larger than many. Breakfast included many kinds of fruit.

Parking may be limited —it wasn’t clear. There isn’t a hotel garage and we couldn’t find a nearby spot on the streets. The hotel reception told us we could park in the abundant 30-minute slots across the street. We did so, and didn’t leave until 1030 without getting a ticket or towed, so it worked for us.

The hotel is very clean. The room was tidy and clean. I can see what some of the other reviewers meant by older furniture, but it is in good condition. This isn't the most stylish hotel but it is functional. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean and not scratchy. The bathroom was pretty large, good soft towels. The water pressure in the shower and hot water were great. The location is also very good, close to the centre of Olbia and not too far from the train station or the bus to the airport. It is close to the sea/port. There is also a supermarket very, very nearby. The only possible downside is that it is close to a busy road on one side, but with the window shut it was not a problem for sleep (there is air conditioning if it is hot). The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I was able to leave my luggage both before check in, and after check out without any problem. Checking in and checking out were very smooth - you only have to pay the classic Italian accommodation tax. The breakfast was also included, and quite good. There were the usual continental breakfast items, including yoghurt, croissants, toast, meats and cheese, fresh juices, and they offer you a fresh coffee of your choice.

I can't think of anything in particular that I didn't like. As I said in the other part of my review, it is close to a busy road, but it didn't bother me.

The staff was polite. The location was excellent. The breakfast was excellent too and the espresso was one of the most aromatic in Olbia,

Early check out - 10.00 am. I was booked a room with the sea view, but I was in a room with a view over the back yard, that made me a little bit sad. No free water in the room, and there isn't coffee and tee amenities. The TV has only a few italian programs...

The location of the hotel was very good and it was great for one night. We enjoyed the breakfast, but it was more of an italian breakfast, so more cakes and pastries than savoury things/ vegetables. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels and aircon was working just fine.

Price wise it was quite expensive for what we got, but i do understand that we picked a high season date in August. Also, the furniture and the bathroom looked quite old, and there is no parking at the hotel.

I've been to this hotel before and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are simple and very clean. There's parking available and it's close to all the restaurants and shopping. All the staff are wonderful and helpful. We'll return without hesitation. Highly recommended..

Nice, clean rooms. Very comfortable, great pillows. Walking distance to everything. Amazing location. Saw the whole city on foot. Bus station to airport is an 8 min walk away. 5 minutes to grocery store. Nice hotel.

Sure, it's a bit noisy if you have the ocean view rooms, by the highway. But if you don't sleep like a pussy, it's not a problem.

Good location near the town centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious although a bit dated. Bathroom was also spacious although the shower cubicle was small. All very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast.

the hotel was located in the heart of the city and only few meters away from the Main Street. the staff were very friendly.

the breakfast was complete except for some sides like tomato and cucumber to freshen up the meal. if you book the room with sea view, be aware that because of the big autobahn in front of it, sometimes at nights it can be very noisy.

Perfect location for someone who enjoys to travel around and the night life. The famous Corso Umberto is near and all bus stations. The breakfast is very nice and the personal ultra polite and helpful. I’ve used to go often to Pittolungo Beach.

A little bit noisy on the street side but it’s part of the package being in center.
