Palazzo Otello 1847 Wellness & Spa0

This is a great hotel. It is actually a palace that has been converted into a hotel. It has got all the modern amenities you can wish for when travelling. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It is centrally located in Vicenza, close to all the main attractions such as Basalica and Teatro Olimpico. The walk from the train station took us about 15 minutes. Highly recommended if you are planning to visit Vicenza.

Can't think of anything that was not to the expectations. Just one thing to be aware of is that check out time is actually 10:30 am, and not 11 am as per booking.com

The property is centrally located and it is close to main city sights. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable, although more on smaller size. Breakfast is nice and choices are good.

Although the site shows that check in time is 14h (2pm) we waited more than one hour to get into the room. But more than that, the staff did not have any sympathy for the situation, they did not even offer a glass of water to make waiting a bit more bearable. That really overcasted the initial experience and it stayed with us for the duration of our stay. Staff should try to be more friendly!

Rooms are comfortable. Location is amazing. Breakfast is very diverse (continental). I will recommend to stay here if you are an independent traveler that doesn't need a 24h front desk. If you come by car, there is a public parking nearby not very expensive for Italian standards. I enjoyed my stay and I will happily stay there again in the future.

FYI front desk is not 24h. Not a problem for us but it might bother other travelers.

The breakfast was really good and extensive. The hotel was located in the middle of the city center, which is great. The airco was working really well, so that even with the very high temperatures outside (close to 40 degrees) we got a nice cool room.

The room could have been cleaned better, the night stands had a lot of dust on them

Booking welness facilities well in advance is racomandable. They tend to be busy. The reception was closed during noon period, before check in. The receptionist was also helping the breakfast service, thus s/he was not available at the reception desk during breakfast.

Great room, wonderful breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay. My only complaint was I booked a spa room but by the time I checked in all reservations were booked. I could have utilized the next morning but I was checking out and didn't want to have wet bathing suit in my suitcase for my travels. Had I known the spa wouldn't be availalbe the evening I checked in I would have opted for the cheaper non spa access room.

The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Vicenza, a very short walk from the main attractions. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and adequate in size. Breakfast (mainly continental) was delicious and very generous. Staff were helpful.

Being so centrally located, within Vicenza's restricted traffic area, the hotel can't offer private parking. We left our car in a nearby (~10-minute walk) underground parking garage (€9 for 24 hours)

The best about this hotel is everything. The personal touch, the location, the quality of the rooms, breakfast and price. It will be my only hotel to stay in Vicenza. The most important thing is that you can check in at any time not as other hotels offer only check in until 21.00.

The location! beautifully set in the middle of town in a lovely old building and pleasant room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom facilities.

The reception didn’t open until 2 pm and wasn’t easy to locate either! small doorway with no handle on the glass automatic door—not very welcoming. not much information about the hotel in the rooms so not clear how to book the spa, for instance.

Hotel provides a simple but well prepared breakfast. Wonderful central location. 10 min walk from train station.

Access to king size bed was a little difficult as bed alcove was to narrow. Small item over all. Bathroom could use a bigger vanity stand.
