Hotel & Spa Lotus (Adult Only)

The rooms are super spacious and offer a range of facilities. A very nice love hotel. The staff did not speak english but tried their best to understand, were always helpful and very attentive.

Came back to the room one afternoon and there was a used tissue on the bed that neither my partner or I had used…. assuming the cleaners left it by mistake. The staff were quick to resolve the issue though and were very apologetic.

the staff were soo nice, the open air bath was great, the bathtub was huge with JETS, so many amenities! free snacks, bath salts, and other essentials in the lobby. room service tasted pretty good for a reasonable price. 15 minute walk from the station. the room was enormous plenty of room to unpack! there is a water dispenser in the room that has cold and hot drinking water on demand

it was a really big room with a huge jacuzzi spa bath. it was interesting to see this kind of (love hotel) they also had an private outdoor bath which you could book

it was a little far from the station which makes it hard to get to with luggage. train station also has limited escalators and elevators

spotlessly clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great room service for food. Luxury facilities in room, and guests can book private use of the secluded rooftop open air warm-water bath for free

Bed is very firm, not a bad thing for everyone but was hard for me to get a comfortable sleep

The room is huge. They have free snacks and amenities in front of the check-in counter. The breakfast is nice.

It’s a bit far from a train station (Takeda station). But it’s a walking distance. It’s around around 15min walk.

The big toilet, soaking tub, double sinks. The spa like amenities. Room is big !

The people singing Karaoke on another room . The location as it’s too far from the station and some taxi drivers got lost finding it.

Very big room, full of facilities. Clean and comfortable. Staffs are so good, all have service minds. Recommend this hotel anytime coming to Kyoto.

i really loved the vast selection of facilities available for entertainment

All of the staff was very kind and helpful; however, there was a bit of a language barrier. We were able to communicate pretty effectively over a translator app. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from a local train station (I believe it was called Tanaka station). It was about 240 yen a person per use to get to Kyoto Station if you’re using the JR Pass.

Not really a complaint, just a heads up for anyone that might be considering booking. This is a hotel that offers “rooms by the hour”. We laughed about it after the fact, but I probably would not have booked it initially if I had known. My fault for not looking further into the hotel. It was a nice place to lay our heads down at night.

Location is too far as nearest metro station is about a kilometre away. Bus and taxi services are not readily available.
