The rooms were clean, quiet and equipped with all the facilities I needed. Excellent housekeeping rota - room cleaned once every 3 days but bins emptied and towels changed daily. The washing machine, driers and vending machines on two floors were very useful for my week long stay. A good restaurant on site too that is reasonably priced - an evening meal with alcoholic drink for about Y1600. The staff were impeccably polite and respectful. Good location 10-15 mins walk to Inari. There are two train stations on different lines within easy walking distance that take you to most places between them. The metro is a bit further but still very walkable in around 15-20mins.

Came to this hotel on our first ever trip in 2012 and although it has had some much needed renovations, the hotel is still as welcoming as it ever was and well situated for trips in and around Kyoto. We love all the restaurants in the local area and how close it is to the beautiful Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine.

great location, only a 10 minute walk to Inari station which allows you to get into city centre in five minutes on JR line (covered by JR Pass). 10 minute walk to Fushimi Inari shrine was great too
Rooms are a little cramped if you have big bags, but great value for money so wasn’t dissapointed.

Good location. Not exactly close to the city, but it's easy to get to everywhere in Kyoto from this location. And the path to the subway or train station is extremely beautiful.
There were people smoking on the floor I was living on. Could have been nice with separate floors for smoking but not a big issue.

It was easy to access and the place was well maintained. The staff were polite. I enjoyed my stay there.
I wish it were closer to the train station. It was as a 10-minute walk but since Japan is so hot, walking for 10 minutes caused me to sweat profusely.

The nearest JR station for the hotel is JR Inari where is located just 20seconds from the shrine gate. Also there are restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets around the hotel. So you don’t need to worry about food and drinks. Bus stops for Kyoto are close to the hotel. As well. The photo attached was taken when I arrived at the station.
