Hotel Cavalier

The staff was amazing. Great service. Gave us a free upgrade to a huge room on the top floor with a fantastic balcony. He showed us good places to eat and drink. At the check out we needed a taxi to the airport and the staff provided it for us, even at a much lower price than the taxi drivers on the street. By the Way, visit the bar across the street, Mr. Ahmed, the owner, is a very good person.

It was my second stay at the Hotel Cavalier and once again I was very satisfied. First of all it is near Hamra so cafes and restraurants and supermarkets are very close by. Despite that the room is very quiet and as a big plus it comes with a balcony so it is a nice place to sit outside and watch the street below. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming, room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Hot water comes immediately when you turn on the tap. The room comes with a fridge, tea kettle with tea and coffee provided and the bottle of drinking water is replaced every day. When I am in Beirut next time I will make sure to stay at the Hotel Cavalier again.

parking is a problem and the spot in front of the hotel for picking up and dropping off people is not always manned. towels are a problem, they are not clean and have a very unpleasant smell.

Mr. Tamer Abdel Baki was really very friendly and took care of us by writing to us about 2 weeks before we went to the hotel and providing us with information on everything we might need. During our stay, all employees showed their sincere interest and helped us in every way. The hotel was very clean, this is very important to me The location was also normal.They are generally very friendly and helpful. We thank Mr. Tamer and all the employees very much The city is multicultural, its historical buildings are very nice and even the new buildings under construction are very impressive, it is very sad that it has seen war,

Dollars and their own money are accepted everywhere, credit cards are almost never used and you have to be very careful when it comes to taxis, just like everywhere else in the world.

The Staff were super FRIENDLY, Oh Riad is an amazing person and then the Old man (can't remember his name) who coordinates Breakfast made us feel so comfortable all the time. Overall it was a FANTASTIC STAY AT HOTEL CAVALIER! Will highly recommend, such a homely feel.

What I think can be better will be having variety of breakfast options for each day, we had the same buffet options for the whole 9 days of stay, got tired at some point.

From start to finish, the hotel was organised, responsive and made 4 girls travelling alone in Beirut very comfortable. All information provided was accurate. The staff were all very helpful and no request was too much for them. The location was perfect for our needs as we had everything on our doorstep. So glad we booked Hotel Cavalier. I'm booking this hotel everytime I visit. I ended up leaving my phone, wallet and watch in the safe and received a call from the hotel the next day to arrange collection.

The hotel staff was very helpful with everything. And they had ready made day trips to pick from that helped with where we should go everyday. Also the hotel receptionist was very helpful with every question we had and never left us clueless.

The hotel room didn't have toiletries ie, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tooth brush, tooth paste, and thread kit

It's a nice hotel and the location was pretty good close to a couple of exchangers in case you wanted to excchange some USD to LBP. The hotel room size was really big and very comfortable to move aroundand the bed was so cozy and you'll definitely have a good night sleep. The best part the curtains are automaticaly controlled through a remote on the wall where you could lower the curtain and extend it, and wait for it the hotel has a balcony. I mean it does over look another building but who cares it was still nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
