Skopje Marriott Hotel

We love the service, it was fantastic. The Marriott is in a great position and the facilities are great, but what makes the Marriott Skopje is the staff. All of them. Everyone was so helpful from the District Restaurant to the Reception. Reception provided advice we needed, were so accomodating and organised taxis to some difficult places. There was helpful advice and they all want the extra mile. Its very child friendly and I would recommend for families. The gym was great and spa centre was brilliant to rest and relax. I recommend the spa services and also a message. They were all so accomodating. We are so grateful to all the staff. You made our holiday so special

Reception/front office staff was brilliant, diligent and rxcellent guides and ambassadors to Skopje many offerings and outstanding representatives of Marriott Skopje style and care philosophy of visiting clients. That is no accident , just dedication and outstanding attitude to hosting guests, shared by all people working at the front desk! I wish we could clone these people and distribute them in many more hotels, where their professionalism and attitude is seriously lacking. However the fix is simple: when your steps take you to Skopje Macedonia, just stay at the Marriott hotel and look for Sanjia. She and her team will take good care of you! Alain

Smoothly modern, warm, efficient, personal and welcoming staff attitude

Skopje Marriott Hotel is set in an iconic location next to the colossal, twenty-two-metre-high statue of Alexander the Great in Macedonia Square. A more central location for staying the night or organising an event is impossible to find in Skopje. We had the privilege of experiencing that concept upon visiting the Skopje Marriott Hotel. The hotel bets on its quality and elegance to outdo the fierce competition in the city. The hotel is charming and refined, lacking virtually nothing. Last but not least, the price policy of the hotel (the Marriott Best Rate Guarantee) is comparable to other luxurious hotels in the city. Saying at this hotel is significantly more affordable than in Western capitals. With prices rising, that factor is becoming increasingly important. The staff at the hotel is probably the best in all of Skopje. For us, every hotel story starts and ends with kind personnel. The hotel service makes all the difference, not the architectural design or the interior.

Even though the spa is enjoyable, it is perhaps too small for such a grand hotel. When the hotel is fully booked, you will quickly find yourself crowded. That is why the hotel should consider implementing a schedule for visiting the spa.

I would like to say thank you to all the team of Marriott MKD - my stay was perfect. Me and my husband love the hotel as it is so spacious, clean, excellent location, friendly staff and the food is fantastic. Our massage therapists are the best. I can't recall their names but THANK YOU. You do an amazing job. I want to thank Angela from front desk, Fetka, Pilip&Ivan from Distrik restaurant, Igor from Concierge and Atanas our driver that he is an angel, took take care of us in every single journey thru beautiful Macedonia.

very comfortable bed, nice view of the main square, breakfast was good, despite some comments saying otherwise. Fruits and drinks in the spa area are available. Location was excellent right in the center.

Room was a bit scruffy with slightly damaged furniture. Small cobwebs on the corners of the ceiling. All amenities such as soap, shampoo was for one person despite booking for two people. But everything was available upon request including bathrobes. Small spa with a small and a little bit cold for our taste swimming pool, it can be problem if you’re travel with children. On the checkout day the receptionists was not that friendly and also around 12 o’clock we received a checkout notice which is quite strange because we were not late. Definitely this time of the year was not high season when all rooms are occupied for the receptionist to be in such rush.

One of the best Marriott chain hotel in Europe. Everything functions perfectly, We stayed in the middle of summer with 40 celsius and the A/ C saved our lives (two adults in seventies and eighties.) If you are going to visit Skopje, Macedonia don’t even think another option, definitely not in the middle of scoring summer. Everything, food , services, cleanliness, smooth A/C etc.

The location couldn't have been better - right next to Alexander the Great statue and the Vardar river. Our premire king suite was amazing - spatious and comfortable, the view from 8th floor is amazing! The bed is super comfortable and everything is very clean.

Our suite came with Executive lounge access and it said in the description that beer and wine would be available, however, we only found sodas (not a major minus, but it would've been nice). Also, even though it is a suite with a king bed, it would be nice if the slide door separating the bath from the bedroom wasn't transparent. 🙂

Location was Ideal, very close to everything. All the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.

For a 5 star, there was a bit of wear and tear in places. Also one night of issues with the lights at night time.

The main thing was a view and the hotel and of course the good rate I got through booking.com I had room 618 which is the best for the view over the main square. Excellent room! The hotel is really big and gives one all what it takes. In winter time ,like now where I stayed is perfect also for indoor activities like gym,spa,massages,swimming or enjoying some good cocktails at the bar. Front desk is friendly and helpful.

My air-condition had problems ,but It was repaired. The bar is great but the dining area. There are waiters who are perfect and there are others where you have to kinda react to get the attention. I would slightly work on that. I didn’t like that was cold sometimes and more doors were opened at the same time. Not pleasent when it’s cold outside. But Ok,those are the small details which caught my eye.
