Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre, an IHG Hotel

The staff (reception, breakfast hall and housekeeping) are all very customer oriented, very polite and helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Location was great, close to pavillon and Bukit Bintang, and yet quiet.

For long stays - breakfast lacks variety and menu mostly the same daily. Some of the items in the daily menu were not fresh (stale bread and pastries) The hotel can review and update their breakfast options to cater to the preferences and needs of long-term guests.

Over all, it was good but the below could use some improvements: -The hotel lobby was too dark, could use more lighting. -Breakfast was very bad, coffee machine always breakdown. -Some of the breakfast foods were spoiled, namely the fruits and salads. The salad were brown and slimy while fruits were slimy/mushy. This happened daily so no coincident that they didnt know. .

The location is superb, and the room is clean. The front desk staff is good and courteous. However, I had some difficulty trying to understand what he say. The security guard is excellent.

The breakfast is okay but can be improved, especially since the taste is not great and there is less variety. The fruit juice, especially the orange juice, needs to be improved. The staff of the F&B need to improve their service. The room is very small, and I could not even slip my leg in when I wanted to use the chair and the mini table. I think the head-end of my bed is broken because when Im lying down on the bed, it is as though my leg-end is higher than my head-end.

Breakfast could improve a little bit more in an imaginative way. The best part of it was the hot tea I could enjoy! The location is fabulous, in easy reach of stations, walkway to KLCC, restaurants and walks.

The room and beds were great! I loved the location - it's near everywhere you'll want to visit if it's your first time in KL. Wifi was great and a lot of options for breakfast during our 3-night stay. Staff were definitely the best, always smiley and ready to help! Give them a raise please:) (from the staff reception, to the cleaners, waiters and security guards)

I think their AC is centralized - at dawn it turns off or something. Also, a faint smell of something unused/unopened when you roll down/up their window blinds but once AC is on it goes away.

I love this hotel! Location is great, there are convenient stores and restaurants nearby. Price is really good for a hotel located on the city center. All staff are friendly and helpful especially Hafiz the receptionist. He did a great job attending my request. He and other staff made me feel welcome. You guys just earn yourself a new loyal guest. This hotel is going to be my official place to stay whenever I’m in KL.

I drive my own car to the property. Sometimes there are car parked near the entrance basement parking. It can be quiet confusing for me as I thought they were queuing to enter the basement carpark. Unfortunately they don’t. So it kind of wasting my time a bit. Hopefully these car can park elsewhere so other guest can enter the basement carpark smoothly.

Small room

I love the location - 5 mins walk to Raja Chulan Monorail Station, 10 mins walk to Pavilion/Bukit Bintang. Family Mart is just next door, together with McD, Grocery Mart and O’Brien Sandwich. If you up for a good walk, KLCC is 25-35mins covered walkaway. The room is very clean, bed and pillow are very comfy. I love they use dove for shampoo & body wash, smells good & relaxing after every shower. Hotel staff is very helpful & courteous. Laundry room is clean and iron is good.

Breakfast area is chaotic and food station is too small a bit difficult to take your food. Also, slow refill, probably because not enough banquet staff/kitchen crew.

1. The room ambiance is good, and the bed was so comfortable. One of the best since the last time I visited. 2. Everything was as I expected; Clean room, comfortable bed and pillow, clean toilet, plenty of complimentary coffee, and tea. Just a great experience even though for 1 night stay. 3. Basic TV channels, but it's okay.

1. The breakfast spread is okay, but not of good quality. The nasi lemak rice is not fully cooked. 2. Porridge condiments is just sad. Suggest to put some ikan bilis, Black bean, or ikan masin. 3. In the salad section, some cherry tomatoes are rotten, indicating that it is not being inspected. I might be wrong but the batch that I saw probably was not washed properly as well.
