I loved the property and all the decor. The bedroom exceeded my expectations. The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows. We had big bath towels. The house temperature was just right. Location was perfect as it was walking distance from center but far enough from all the loudness of the center and main streets. WiFi worked perfectly. We had some great amenities such as coffee maker, fresh fruit and sweet bread daily. Tea was also in the options. I loved that we had an organic bar soap which is a plus for me and my sensitive skin. That was appreciated it.

Zero. Everything was beyond perfect during my stay.

This place is one of the best places I've ever stayed at, and i've traveled a lot. The hosts (Rafael and his wife) are very sweet and welcoming, they are a couple who have turned the house into the most beautiful architecture, with little nice gardens attached. The room we stayed at was very clean, everything smelled so nice and homey, the lights were warm, bathroom was really big and clean, hot showers with great water pressure, towels, shampoo and soap were all ultra high quality. The room was really quiet, the touches around the house made the house even more beautiful, it was carefully and thoughtfully decorated that made people feel welcome. I really cannot compliment this place enough, even tho it was a short stay, i wish i stayed longer! The hosts are the most friendly, funny, warm people i've ever met, they radiate such positive energy that is contagious! They made the trip and this place even more unique. I've been to Guanajuato twice, I highly recommend you to stay here, if you're still looking, look no further, this will be the best place out there! 200% recommended!

The experience of staying at this hotel was just amazing. Starting from Rafa (the owner) who gave us a super welcome to the place. The hotel is full of small touches which make it cozy and pleasant when you are visiting Guanajuato. My friends and me were planning to stay just 1 night but decided to come back just as the experience worth to be repeated. The rooms are big enough. No noise at all. The bathroom super clean. Rafa offers a coffee or tea in the morning which you can take with a sweet bread too. Rafa thanks for your hospitality!

This is one of my most favorite properties I’ve ever stayed in. It was so beautiful, so cozy, very spacious, clean, and well decorated. The owners were also the nicest, kindest people who went out of their ways to help us out during our time here, including booking me an emergency dentist appointment at a trusted clinic. I can’t recommend this place enough - we stayed 5 nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Nothing - it was perfect. Even though it wasn’t right in the middle of the city center, it was within a very walkable distance, and very worth the walk.

Literally EVERYTHING! Rafael & Veronica were exceptional, from the beginning of our stay to the end. They provided us a mini tour of the entire house, explaining every detail of its construction to its decoration, each room of the house is designed & decorated differently, making it especial. The hallways, living room & study room took our breath away! Rafael is a great architect who was a keen eye for converting a regular object into a piece of art. They are both truly lovely & kindhearted folks with an awesome personality & an immense passion for art. Will definitely stay in their establishment again, it was quiet, peaceful, with a pleasant wood aroma & exceptionally clean rooms. If you are reading this review, do not hesitate and book the room before someone does, there is only 6 of them! Ps: If you love to purchase authentic Guanajuato’s pottery & ceramics, ask them about Gorky Gonzales.

It has been an astonishing surprise for us to stay in an art museum like this for one night! Outstanding and unforgettable! Rafael has been decorating this house with vintage pieces since 18. As a result, you can actually feel history resonating with your mind, which brings peace to your soul. It is definitely worth the money since it’s not only a place to have a rest but also a museum deserving exploring!

Everything is perfect and elegant

This accommodation is perfect! The bed and bathroom was comfortable. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Lots of hot water. The coffee/morning food service is great and consists of self-serve options of baking and fruit as well as coffee or tea.

The casa is located on a hill. But the trade-off is great parking availability and that was well worth it. Also, the neighbourhood is very quiet and lovely. We hired taxis to take us up the hill. Only 50 pesos.

San Bernabé 3 is a beautiful place to stay. It’s a lovingly and carefully remodeled hacienda, filled with art, antiques, and thoughtful details. Rafa is a gracious host, very welcoming and helpful. The location is in a quiet area just a 15 minute walk to the historic center, I very much appreciated being able to enjoy the bustle of the center and then go back to our quiet room! Breakfast was spread of local pan dulce and fruit, with coffee and tea available. Would absolutely stay again!

SB3 is a total gem of a place. We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed the property. It’s immaculately furnished and feels like being inside a museum. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The host, Rafa, is super kind. While the location is a 10-15 minutes walk from the center, we never felt the slightest bit unsafe. Plus, it’s kind of nice to retreat away from the hustle and bustle in the center.

It is such a beautiful place to stay in Guanajuato. All rooms were beautiful and the staff were super friendly. Rafa and his wife were so kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the whole house and were extremely helpful in every way. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Guanajuato. Couldn’t recommend enough!
