Suites de La Parra

The beds were very comfortable, the place was bigger than imagined, the staff was friendly, it was very clean and the maid service daily was wonderful and secure (leave them a tip at the end of your trip because they are exceptional). The pool was great for the kids and had a nice view and vibe in the evenings and water was nice and warm. The AC, mini fridge and microwave were perfect in the room. The location was ideal in the center of it all but super quiet at night for a good nights rest. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The stairs when wet were dangerous. You must wear shoes coming down from the pool because even if you are careful, if your feet are wet or it’s raining, you will almost certainly fall. Also water pressure was a little low at times but overall great stay!!

our first room was spacious, had a kitchenette and sitting area. best of all were the great A/C, the large bathroom with two sinks as well as having two beds in the bedroom. we extended our stay and ended up having to move to a significantly smaller room with one bed and one bathroom sink. our fault for not booking our original reservation for a longer period. the rooftop was just lovely in the evening; breakfasts were excellent. Very, very helpful staff.

It was a little noisy from within the property and although we knew in advance, walking up all those flights of steps wasn’t fun after hours of walking through the city.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The suite was sparkling clean and the esthetic is simple, yet tasteful and modern. The rooftop pool deck was spectacular any time of the day, but especially during breakfast and lunch when they serve delicious food. The proximity to the Zocalo and amazing restaurants allowed for long days of walking the streets of Oaxaca. Overall, a wonderful refuge to return to after a day in the bustling city.

The only mention is the water pressure in the shower. I did hear other travelers having the same issue so this probably occurred city wide.

Wonderful stay! The hotel has a great location right in the city center, just 1 block away from the Zocalo. The rooms were super spacious, modern décor and well equipped. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay and accommodated many of our requests. The ladies in the kitchen were super nice and accommodating too!

The place has a small entrance and there is no elevator, but the staff was very helpful to carry the luggage to the room. I wouldn't recommend this place to people with limited mobility though. Breakfast is not included, but there are a la carte options in the menu.

The spacious suite was perfect for our girls trip of 4. Nice to have the extra kitchen space with couch for gathering. We used frig, microwave, and coffee maker regularly. Staff were great and the room service was outstanding. Loved the location!

Beds were a tad hard but I still sleep well, and having a king, and 2 queens was awesome! We did have to reset the toilet floater each flush - hassle, but minor.

Great staff, wonderful location and very quiet. Fatima, Juan and the other Fatima were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions, recommendations and helping with the all the logistics associated to a job related trip. The gentleman at the reception at night was very helpful early in the morning with my suitcase. All the personal from the cleaning, restaurant and reception day/night were excellent and very friendly showing the amazing hospitality of Oaxaca. Muchisimas gracias por su servicio y lugar excelente.

The property has all the comfort and amenities one could ask for in the heart of the city! Well managed, kind staff, spotless and you cannot hear the crazy traffic that is just outside the entrance.

there was nothing i did not like, no complaints! Only a suggestion to leave a sponge in the kitchen with some dish soap for those who are used to cleaning up after themselves .Otherwise the cleaning service does this daily .

Excellent breakfast from a menu. Prices were quite reasonable. For example panes and eggs and coffee came to about $7. Suite was really, really large for two people, with two Bedrooms plus a sitting room and kitchen.

There was nothing in writing in the room, so we had to get help to operate the TV and phone. No list of channels. None of the TV included English language programs. We didn’t come to Mexico to watch Netflix, but a little news would have been nice.

Very clean. centrally located, one block from Zocalo. very quiet inside rooms. The roof top pool and restaurant was a lovely way to start the day with breakfast or cool off in the afternoon and nap!

Hard beds.

The hotel and staff were great! You can tell how much they try to be the best they can be. I called in room service, Done. I called in a recommended driver DONE I asked for some coffee DONE. Of course I am a happy tipper. The room was very large clean neat and modern. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows. The exterior of the hotel is hidden and secluded but its so well located. We walked to everything. The breakfast upstairs on the roof was excellent.

Clean comfy and friendly staff. We loved the location and the staff was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Funny exterior purple paint job.
