The place was ok to stay in but further away from the Zocalo location.It was clean .There is no AC ,but they did provide fans.The staff is ok and helpful.Manager refused to remove extra charge as a one time courtesy.It was fine.However,for the amount money we paid we could have stayed at a hotel that is more centrally located that offers breakfast.

The reservation was non refundable and they charged extra for the same room we booked online stating there there is an extra adult.It was me,my husband and infants under two years.We never had to do that before.For the price we paid,we could have stayed right near the Zocalo.There is a dangerous street crossing that we have to cross every day to get to the Zocalo.

Beautiful look. Hotel also has a courtyard where you can relax if you don't want to sit in your room yet. Room has a big closet and locker for your valuables. Good location. Don't forget to go across the street to the art store, it's great. Pretty quiet street.

The only things were that the floor was not clean and the headboard of the bed was not secured, so every time you would turn you heard this bang again. All over Puebla you smell the sewer a bit, so also in the hotel. But not really a big issue.

Sheila at reception was excellent. We arrived quite late in the evening after a long drive, and she was so helpful and competent (we had actually gone to a different hotel first, where the receptionist was asleep and we had to poke her several times before she attended us, giving the distinct impression that she couldn't be bothered). All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the hotel has a lovely courtyard. The bathroom is small, but well equipped. The room itself was a good size. You can walk to the centre in less than 5 minutes and we appreciated being in a quiet area away from people and car traffic. Finally, the check out time is very generous- you can stay until midday, with a further 1 hour 'tolerance', so you can enjoy your morning. I would happily stay here again!

The room was really nice and the surroundings, the black out shutters were great as we struggle to sleep with light coming in. The bed was comfortable and they provided bottles of water, though I feel like they should provide filtered water that you can use to fill up your bottle to avoid single use plastic waste.

The shower didn't really get that hot and we had to run it for approx 10 minutes (we were told to do that) for it to get warm. I feel like that is a huge waste of water and like to be environmentally friendly.

Location is great and the staff was very friendly and helped us with our requests.

All sounds from outside the room can be listened inside the room, in front of our room there was a living room that can be used as a social/public area. This area should have a restricted schedule for use it (max 10pm), because all conversations can be listened inside the nearby rooms. The staff at the front desk helped us to request the guys at this area to be quiet, but some of them did not care. My husband had to ask them to keep their voice low, we couldn't sleep until they left the area.

The location of the hotel is perfect, only 5-10 minutes from great bars and cafes and restaurants in the very centre of the historical district, but away from the noise. There was a great little food market set up at nights over the road from the hotel. Our room was large, light, with a high ceiling, tastefully and simply decorated. The bed was large and very comfortable. There are nice outdoor areas to relax in. We found the staff to be helpful, supplying us with extra things we needed during our stay and providing advice when asked.

The shower wasn’t great, but similar to other hotels we have stayed at in Mexico. There is no designated parking for hotel guests, although the staff are able to provide advice on where to park on the street out front (car may need to be moved during your stay).

Very charming colonial style hotel just across the main boulevard from Callejon de los Sapos and the main streets of the Centro Historico. The courtyard is beautiful and is painted bright colors like the streets of Puebla. Our room had a king size bed and met all of our expectations. This is a great value hotel that we would stay at again.

good location a few mins walk to great bars, markets and food spots in the centre room was really big and high ceilings with fan so stayed cool, and doors opening onto the courtyard. the central Courtyard was really nice to relax in on the sofas

the booking.com page shows a rooftop which wasn't open to guests. also it looks like coffee and a jug are provided in the rooms and breakfast is available for $4 but again none of this was available. It was fine for us but a little misleading.

lovely room in a courtyard, quiet escape in the heart of the city, comfy bed & great night sleep, hot shower every day, room cleaned everyday, great friendly staff, very patient with my terrible Spanish, I stayed for 7 nights & would stay again if I came back to Puebla.

it’s a nice colonial building located in a historic part of the city, very close to the city center. There’s a Sunday market not too far from the hotel which is very lively.

The hot water isn’t hot enough, also the doors are a bit old which isn’t properly insulated which allows in noise and cold air.
