Good restaurant, nice jacuzzi, convenient amenities

Outdated shower No window view from the room

The Spa was awesome, so friendly people, we had a very good massage - they took very good care of us. The breakfast was very good, very friendly staff and good food.

We arrived late but just in time, the restaurant was still open - but it was with great difficulty that they took our order. Than we got the wrong food.. just put a deadline for orders and provide good service before this deadline and make guests feel welcome. one morning was not very quiet, somebody used a circular saw at 8 in the morning next to our room.. not very holiday like. It only stopped after some time when we asked the reception.. just do such shores during the day and not in the early morning..?

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, excellent location, ambiance, friendly staff.

We were disappointed in the restaurant. Service was slow, stingy with the alcohol in the drinks and our food arrived cold. We were also amused by the bathrobes provided. My wife took a shower and put one on and nearly died laughing. The were so small that they would barely have fit an adolescent, much less a full-sized adult. Hotel really needs to provide some larger bathrobes. Also, the shower head in our room really needed maintenance and we wondered whether other rooms were the same. The shower head was so plugged that little water came out where needed. Instead, it sprayed all over in ever direction except where you wanted it.

This hotel is glorious with every corner being a work of art! The staff is extremely friendly and accomidating and it is always kept immaculately clean. The bonus was their rooftop running track where you can take in the city views! Their in house restaurant is rated on of the top best in Puebla and it did not disappoint! I would suggest making reservation as soon as you check in since it does book quickly. The restuarant is visited not only the hotel guests but also by the neighboring town/cities. I went during the season for chiles en nogada and they were a gastronomic delight.

I would like to mention that none of he rooms have a view due to the structure of the building(s) and its boutique style. The fitness center is small with just few workout equipment.

The room was very comfortable, and a nice size, with gorgeous THICK wood doors, a large bathroom and well appointed. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful. The on-site restaurant was good and fairly priced. The location is good, safe-feeling, and walkable to the zocalo and other areas of interest. I had never been to Puebla, and it was helpful to have staff that spoke English to assist me with getting (a fair priced )taxi to visit other locations, (Cholula, the bus station). I felt that the management actually took an interest that I was having a nice stay. When does that happen?!

The internet was iffy at (many) times. The air conditioning unit wasn’t working well, but as soon as I mentioned it, they had repair people there in minutes.

Loved this hotel, especially the restaurant and rooftop pool. Check-in was super quick and easy. Staff were lovely. The restaurant is a popular choice and features in the "best restaurants" guide to Oaxaca. The pool was lovely and rarely busy. Location is a 10 minute walk into the centre of Oaxaca but lots of food options on the way and a little cart that sets up each morning and sells local Mexican breakfasts.

Nothing, we liked everything.

Staff was amazingly helpful and courteous. The rooms were wide and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I even asked staff about the mattress manufacturer. The bathrooms were big and luxurious. They provide bath robes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and a sewing kit. The daily chocolate almonds and the coffee/espresso machine in the room were a nice touch. The spa is really good as well as the swimming pool. The restaurant had a great variety of foods and drinks. The waiters were extremely helpful and nice as well, always ready to assist. It was truly an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely come back!

I can't think of anything bad to say.

The Hotel Casareyna is a gorgeous building with exposed stone, beautiful courtyards, a terrific restaurant and staff who could never do enough for you. It is ideally situated for walking around the old city of Puebla which is completely charming. We stayed a week and found lots to do. I’ve stayed in plenty of high end hotels but have never found staff quite so helpful and accommodating. The pool is delightful and the water is warm as it does get a little cool in the evening. I’d certainly stay here again.

Large and beautifully designed rooms. Warm aesthetics. Every detail in room and hallways meticulous. Delicious and reasonably priced restaurant.

Room was great but faced the street so it can be noisy with passing cars; if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping wear earplugs. Room should have slippers. A kettle could be provided for hot water and coffee pods for each day rather than per stay.

The feel of the hotel was very nice, the restaurant is always busy in a good way so there's lots of people in the courtyard and it made me want to check out the restaurant. The food and service there were amazing! Overall the entire staff were very friendly with our family group, we had 12 rooms in total.

The rooms dont have windows you can open to air out the room so when someone showered it made the whole room feel like a sauna. In the morning it would have been nice to air the room as well but if we wanted fresh air we would need to open the front door. My room was great, it had lots of light and the bathroom was so big! Other rooms my family stayed at were very dark without enough lighting in the room and only a tiny window to allow natural light. It really bothered them and it would have bothered me too if I had gotten stuck with a room without enough light.
