I did not like the service at the cappuccino place at all. Also, I felt that they need more employees when the hotel is at full capacity

Far, FAR from the city. So basically it's a resort only destination. The walls are thin. Unless you're on the 4th (top) floor, you will hear neighbors. Too many people with masks. I was harassed at the buffet by an employee for my mask slightly below the nose. That was rude and aggressive: totally unnecessary. That was an exception though, as most employees are great.

Excellent hotel to stay in for two weeks. It had everything; great food (and lots of choice), very professional and friendly staff (especially Paco who worked in 'Spaces' and Daniel who worked in 'Krystal', top marks to these guys), top facilities, great swimming pools and activities, (right next to the beach also), clean, tidy and spacious rooms, great entertainment at night and all at an affordable price - would highly recommend this place! Top marks RIU Palace!

The only negative is that its a 20 minute drive into Cancun center but if you are not a single bloke like me then it wouldn't matter and you would have everything that you need at the resort!

Great hotel and location. It’s 45 mins away from the airport north of the main cancun strip so don’t expect to have anything significant close by. There is another Riu next door with water slides between the two properties and easy accessibility. The beach and ocean here are spectacular with almost no seaweed. There are palm trees on the beach providing some protection from the sun. Love this natural setting!! The resort has a buffet which serves a selection of foods from the various restaurants. Food selection was OK, if you’re here for a longer stay it can get repetitive. Travelling with family we mostly ate at the buffet. Did not seem worth the wait to line up for the a la carte resturants. Room was comfy and clean. The entire resort was clean. Staff were friendly.

Not a big fan of towel cards. Gift shop and Photo Booth is expensive so use only when absolutely required.

There is no way to withdraw money , although there is a ATM, but it didn't work with both my credit and debit card. The Hotel is too far from the hotel Zone, you need 40 min by taxi and around 30$ at least for one trip. There is nothing around the hotel, so if you plan to party and enjoy Cancun life, the hotel is not the best option. Perfect for relaxation and families

Everything was spotless. Rooms were very comfortable and roomy. Food was phenomenal.

The only negative was the lack of entertainment. The shows were meh. And the dancing/dj area was closed due to COVID. Need some fun stuff to do like Kareoke or more nightly fun.

For our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort, the Riu exceeded our expextations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and with a sea view! Great oprions restaurant options from the main buffet to the 5 speific restaurants. (Our favorite: Zarape, the mexican restaurant). Staff was very helpful and kind. Antonio at the check in desk is a true asset to the hotel. He was very kind and welcoming and made our check in process very easy. Marieli and Aidee in the spa are great! Best massages. The entertainment team is excellent! We loved the international and comedy shows. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitively will recommend to friends and family, and of course return!

I have never been to a better place ever. All details are taken care off. When they say “All inclusive”, they mean it. You just pay once and forget about it all. All in all is a fair price. The rooms are large and clean and the ocean view is breathtaking. The gardens are beautiful.

The hotel is so great that the reception area looks poor in comparison. That facility should be renovated, but still, the place is fantastic.

Service was great and staff was on point. They was very friendly and helpful.

The food was not really good. I Thought it would be some great Mexican food. No It Was Not and one restaurant made me and my boyfriend kinda sick.
