Hotel Belmar

on the outside it doesn’t really looks like a hotel bc its the entry of a restaurant but the rooms are very cute and were big enough. you sleep above the resaturant so until 11pm its not quiet but that was ok bc after that there isn’t any noise. the put extra glass before the door and windows to make the room even more quiet. & the bed was just perfect! Very comfortable and soft you could darken the room with ‘el angel de la habitacion’. You’ll have to find out what that means by staying there! cute shampoo, soaps and conditioner. Also the ac worked perfect! i really enjoyed my stay here.

if i really have to choose something it would be the wifi. it works but not in every place in the room.

The room was so quaint. We felt like we were in a villa in the country. Bed was very comfortable. Ceiling fan and air conditioning worked great and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The location was wonderful in the heart of downtown and walking distance to all our favorite places.

We asked for a blanket but they didn't have any so they gave us beach towels to use. A mini fridge would have been nice as we always had leftovers but no where to keep them. All rooms are at least one floor up and stairs are rather treacherous for us older folks. A railing all the way up would be very helpful.

bed was comfortable! it was a cute little room right on the heart of the shopping and restaurant area.

the only downside is that is pretty loud, since you are staying in such a busy street if get very loud and probably hard to sleep for some. I was pretty tired so I sleep just fine but my husband didn’t and my family that was staying in the same hotel but different room, they told me they had to use earplugs to sleep. other than that is a very cute hotel with a delicious restaurant in the first floor.

How the staff responded to my request to increase the water flow to the toilet. I think the water is set to conserve water, and when I asked the lady at the front desk if the water filling the toilet can be increased, it was done! But I want to make clear, here in the U.S. when I lived in apartments that conserve water to the toilets and washing machines, I always asked management to increase the water pressure, and increase the water level in the toilet.

That I had to leave.

Location, in the nothern part of the island, so close to everything you will need as a tourist (minimarket, souvenirs shops, pharmacies, ferry terminal, taxi office, restaurants...). Nothern beach is a 10 minute walk away.

Slow internet (sometimes it just don't work for some minutes), if you need it for work for example, be really patient and don't be too crazy with needs that use a lot of bandwith.

Everything! It's the perfect location, it's very clean, very beautiful, close to the ferry and the beach. A lot of restaurants and little stands near by, feels very safe to walk by.

There was one guy in the staff that was not very friendly but there was a girl the next day and she was cool, but both very polite, helpful and professional.

Location! And the room was lovely. Very quiet even thou we were right on the street with our room.

The narrow stairs. Putting a 70 year old woman with major hip arthritis on the 3rd floor after I messaged them asking them to please have her on the 2nd floor. For this reason alone we won't be back.

Great location. Very accessible to the beach and ferry. The room was good size. The AC worked Great. Decent bathroom with good shower and hot water. Nice restaurant, but we did not eat there.

it got loud in the evenings but we adjusted ok. we stayed on room 11 and we forgot our key fab in the safe. If there is anyway you could send it to us we would pay for the cost be very grateful. Our address is Randy Bye 14580 State Hwy 27 W Kensington, MN 56343

the location is great, in the middle of the towns main street. the room is basic, it has what you need to have an ok stay, working AC, hot water, etc.

take into account that there’s a restaurant in the hotel, so it can be noisy in the evenings but it get quiet at around 11 pm., which is when no went to sleep, so it didn’t really bother me.
