Very clean rooms, our room was excellent in size, we loved the drinking water available, comfy bed, the kitchen has all you need to cook and in general, it was a very good service. I would recommend the suites for people with rental cars because the location is great to access quickly to the highway and drive to other nearby beaches (akumal, tulum etc.)

It is a bit complicated the check-in when you are coming during the night. There is nobody to do the check-in. They send you a video explaining it in a very clear way. It would be nice to have the information on how to access days before the arrival because we were traveling for more than 14 hours without internet (roaming data) etc.

Really large room, spotlessly clean. The pool across the road in their other property was a welcome afternoon break. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach and there's a huge walmart style supermarket at the end of the road. Saw a sign in the park on the corner advertizing 'cine' Looked like fun but I never made it

I arrived after dark and had problems with the combo lock to access keys. I had a torch but it wasn't a great help. Good thing there were a couple of guys across the road who were staying there and had keys. Problem solved if you arrive before 1630 because there is a receptionist. Just a heads up.

Enormous comfortable bed, good aircon, plenty of indoor space and good shower with hot water, plus access to the pool across the road (no space for sun beds though). There are some very good restaurants nearby, and while it’s a good walk from the closest beach at PDC, that beach isn’t great anyway, but you are close to the secondary ADO bus station for a minibus to Xelha which is much nicer (access fees apply: beach only or beach club).

Some noise from neighbours late at night, not really able to use the outdoor space (some patios were more usable than others), and totally unable to keep mosquitoes out despite the screens.

I had a King Suite with fully equipped Kitchen and large refrigerator for 3 weeks, and it was amazing. I cooked everyday. Everything was included and anything you need is a few blocks away and for normal prices, not tourist prices. The courtyard is beautiful and cool due to all the wonderful trees. While working on my computer in the beautiful courtyard, their fruit tree just drops candy for you to pick up and eat. Absolutely beautiful! The courtyard is a wonderful place to make new friends. It is so easy. The guests I met were all wonderful and interesting and from all over the world, most from Mexico. The apartment was wonderful in all ways. The wifi was as advertised, useful in the common areas, but without a repeater, not in your room. I knew this when I chose this apartment and honestly it was better than other places I stayed at in Playa. Everything was better than advertised. The staff are wonderful and the place is sparkling clean. I speak very little Spanish and it was not a problem. One of the managers speaks fluent English and helped me with any issue I had. 10/10! I loved the location! It is next to a wonderful park ( closed due to covid but still filled with birds and iguanas which you will see and hear, surrounded by nature ) and in a great safe neighborhood with a wonderful bookstore a block away. It is a true Mexican neighborhood, a nice and safe one! I loved the area and buying what I needed from local shops. There is a huge modern Super Market 3 blocks away as well. Yes a McDonald's too, haha. Wonderful value and I really don't want to leave. I will be back to this wonderful apartment/hotel. I love it! Much better in all ways than I expected. I think this is the most important, it is fair and trustworthy in all ways. I think I will do a 'Spinal Tap' reference and give it 11/10!

Nothing. Some parts are being renovated due to storms and some facilities are not open due to covid, but that is true all over Playa.

The studio was comfortable with ample size and light, kitchen, big bathroom, and air conditioning. The main house with pool is very pretty. The property was lush with trees. A nice Chedraui is nearby for groceries.

The walk to the beach and Avenida Quinta was uncomfortable since I didn't have a car. It would've been nice to have at least one "hotel packet" of coffee available since I arrived late in the evening and didn't really want to walk to the store the very first thing as a guest.

The accommodation was perfectly located. Just a 20 minute walk to the beach and 5th Avenue. There was even a supermarket close by and a really nice breakfast place (el cafe 7 sur). We arrived very late, but the hotel owner sent us some really great movies about how we should check-in. Those were really helpful and we are really greatfull for them! The accommodation is really beautiful and cozy with the little lights. The room was very big and comfortable. We had a kitchen and a really nice bed. We can only recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay in Playa del Carmen!

Nothing really, everything was perfect!

The rooms are spacious and clean. The management and staff are personable, helpful and accomodating. We rented 2 rooms, one was a king suite and the other a 2 bed suite. Both had well equipped kitchenettes. They are both studio size and spacious enough for a short visit. A single person could live here long term if they do not need too much space. The courtyard is a very pretty garden and quiet with a shaded patio area and lawn chairs for lounging. The wifi is excellent. Overall a great place to stay for travellers seeking a very clean hotel, quiet and tranquil residential area that is about a 20 minute walk, 3-5 minute taxi to the beach and 5th avenue area. There are many excellent Mexican restaurants in the area as well as a very large super grocery store nearby on 50th ave, about 5 mintues walk.

A pool would be welcome but not essential.

The place is beautiful. Very nicely decorated Very cute with houses inside the house with an inside bridge. Large kitchen that allows you to cook and make tea/coffee Great common area inside and outside, with sofas, chairs/tables, and hammocks. Nice garden with a pool Overall a wonderful stay and we will be coming back

Not a negative, just a note: It's located far from the tourist area and not easy to get around without a car. Street parking is available.

Casa Ejido is a super lovely place in Playa del Carmen just a few blocks from the highway and 30 mins walking distance from the beach! It has two sides - one is a big jungle house with apartments without private kitchen (but with a common one) and the common pool area and the other side (where we stayed) are bigger apartment studios with personal kitchen. I stayed with my husband and my mother in a separate room, and we so much enjoyed it! The apartments are quite spacious in our opinion, very clean and have all the facilities inside! We never used taxi and always walked, and it never seemed a problem for us! There’s a massive supermarket Chedraui 400m away right in the same street! Neighbourhood is safe even during the night, but we always walked in a company of three. Also, the manager offers a lot of tours and leisure activities with a super nice price! Much better than the city ones. It was a wonderful stay for 9 nights and we would definitely consider this place again!

Maybe for some people the soundproofing is super important but it’s not the case, however it was absolutely perfect for us! Not partying, neither loud noises at night

Looks exactly as on the pitures! I booked only for two nights and stayed for extra 5 nights! A very cute place!! good location, 20/25 min by foot to the beach and all the good restaurants around. close to everything you need. If you are a nomad, defiantly a place for you!! excellent WIFI, quiet and pleasant to work by the pool. Also, the bed is really really comfortable!! The staff is wonderful and very friendly! Overall, a wonderful experience.

The only thing which was missing for me was that my room was a bit dark, with not much sunlight. there are lamps but they were still not strong enough, couldn't work in my room, but it was a good reason to work by the pool :)
