The hosts were very attentive to our requests and did everything to make sure we're happy and comfortable. A 20 minute walk to 5th ave and beach front. Also a walmart about 17 minutes walk. They upgraded us from studio to 2 bedroom apt at no extra charge. The apt was super clean, so was the large pool. We loved this place and their hospitality and was sad to leave after 6 days. Also the kitchen was a bonus for us to cook sometimes. Sebastián and his wife Christelle are super nice hard working people. We give it 10 out of 10. Thank you so much, we definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Neigborhood was a little rough but Ok during day time. Barking dogs at the neighborhood at night but you get used to it after a while:)).

Christelle and Sebastian are wonderful host. How they are french as my boyfriend we spend some time talking about everything. They also have laundry service that it is really convenient. The house in general is clean with a big pool and hammocks. The room have all the necessary for a long stay, king size bed and kitchen with ac and a decent bathroom space, good for two people. They gave us some recommendations to go around, also they have a guide in every room.

Nice hotel in the quiet area, in a walkable distance about 15 mins to the city centre and the beach. The owners were very friendly and we were given a map and directions on how to get the city centre, restaurants etc. Our room had good facilities for cooking so we could prepare breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and cosy. It was very good value for money.

The only thing we missed a bit was more TV channels in English.

My stay at Claro de Luna truly was like when you visit family you haven't seen in a while. Roberto and his family operate a nice, quaint apartment complex that has units complete with everything you need for a long or short stay, in the heart of a normal neighborhood. You're in a different country, and it's not a hotel- which is what makes staying at Claro de Luna so great. You're in a different country, so you want to get acquainted and acclimated to the difference from being in your own home. That's why having family with you is so important. As a solo traveler, from the moment my shuttle arrived, Roberto greeted me warmly and indulged me though I arrived after typical operation hours. What happens when you arrive at Claro de Luna, you're alone, you're a first-time visitor, and don't know much more than whatever research you thought to review beforehand? Well, your Uncle Roberto has staff grab your luggage, everyone escorts you through the property's tall gates, through the white marble entryway of the residence complex, and he delicately attunes your present disposition within balance of a more relaxing nature. He graciously subdues any non tranquil feelings and calmly explains where you are, what's around you and expounds or explains everything at your pace. You get so comfortable and confident with being in Playa del Carmen because you suddenly begin moving about as if you have little to worry about because you're staying with your uncle's family. On my first night, I arrived hungry and wanted some local food but only had a credit card, instead of local currency or cash. Uncle Roberto gave me a brief tour or my apartment (including the beautifulpool I'd eventually have a good time in), left me to settle-in, and had a staff member call a taxicab to wait for me, while fronting me more than enough local currency to get whatever I needed for the evening.

A nice place to stay to avoid the busy center but still be in a nice location where mostly locals live. Sebastien gave lots of tips around the area. Him and his wife are very friendly and helpful, this place is definitely worth the money 👍 Did not use the pool but it looked nice and clean, should be good for children as well.

I loved the warm welcome from the owners! The location is not too far from the center and far enough to have some tranquility and peace ! The swimming is a blast! I had a studio and it had everything I needed! The little kitchen is fully equipped and the TV had ton of channels in English! WiFi is the best I had in Play del Carmen! I fully recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some quiet time in PDC or for families! The owners always take good care of the guests and asks you if everything is okay! They also have free bikes that I have often used! Thanks again Sebastian and Christelle for your welcome!

There's nothing I didn't like! Everything was perfect!

We loved staying at Claro de Luna and would recommend it to everyone who wants a quiet place to stay in Playa del Carmen. The apartment was spacious, clean and very nice. It had everything we needed. The garden and pool were also great. There are free bikes you can borrow. The hosts were very kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for restaurants and helped with everything we needed or wanted to know.

The host is really friendly and helped us with useful information. Location is of walking distance from the main beach and supermarket + colectivo station is really near. Mosquito nets are everywhere.

We had couple of ants stopping by to say hello.

Very nice and big appartment and Sebastian gave us all the neccesarry Information we needed. The Pool was very nice and clean. All in all more than we expected and we clearly can recomend. THX Sebastian!

Beautiful suite to stay in with best shower and plenty of hot water. Fabulous swimming pool in gorgeous gardens. Sebastien and Crystelle were perfect hosts and were so kind and helpful.
