It has a great staff, the beach spot is one of the best in Riviera Maya (Maroma Beach), the quality of the food is great, not a crowded hotel, spa is great, very relax full atmosphere, internet speed and availability
Food is overpriced and eating options are limited (just 2 restaurants). Considering you are in the middle of Cancun and playa del Carmen you need to stick to the limited food options.

very private / secluded and not a large resort; you often feel as if it’s just you and a handful of other couples or families. the attention to detail and warmth of the staff is world class, as is the food. true laid back luxury, but be prepared to pay for the privilege.

somewhat limited food options. prices for wine and food are far higher than comparable hotels in the area (we had dinner at a competitor and wine and food were significantly lower). some nickel and diming. this was my only significant complaint

Perfect (not so) little gem located about 20 min drive from Playa. Very attentive staff, every little detail is thought about, our villa was amazing!!! and we enjoyed it very much. Fantastic breakfast, great cocktails, beautiful lobby and surroundings.

The villa was gorgeous, food was excellent and the staff was great as well. Christian the concierge made the stay truly memorable. Will be back again.
A lot of our favorite food was from the lunch menu, would have been great if more of the lunch food (tacos etc) was available at dinner.
