So cute and cozy with more space than expected. We had the family room for two adults with a sitting area plus in room coffee/tea facing the church. Breakfast is included in the restaurant downstairs and we couldn't believe how fantastic it was! Full table service with tea/coffee, eggs, cold plate of cheese and meat, fruit bowl, bread basket and more. The staff was lovely and even arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station. Thank you for that because my pronunciation of the town is appalling! Beds were very comfortable and the shower was surprisingly roomy. The church bells ring on the hour and half hour but no worries, there are earplugs supplied! For anyone with an adventurous side they also have a fun staircase to try!

The hotel is small, but very nice! It is located right next to the church - for parking you may look at the streets around or the bigger parking spaces in 5 mins walking distance. In the evenings & on Sunday’s it is for free w/o time limitation. The hotel is part of a restaurant which serves really nice food & a great breakfast is included in the price. They have a narrow staircase to the rooms on the first floor, no elevator. The room was quite hot, but they had a fan placed in front of the bed. Bathroom was small, but clean & bright. Slept really well.

It might get a bit loud in the evenings when they clean the kitchen - my room was right above it. I had earplugs though, so it was alright.

This hotel was a cozy and quaint accommodation with a warm and pleasant ambience. The owners and staff were all very polite, friendly and professional with a warm and respectful attitude. This hotel was our home for two weeks and we could not of picked a better place in our opinion. We felt very much at home. When we return to the Netherlands, the Wapen will be our first choice.

If I had to complain, the Wi-Fi was not working properly was my only complaint. We mentioned it and were advised that they indeed were having issues and were in the the process of rectifying the problem. Technical problems do occur.

The restaurant was very good and the staff were wonderful, charming and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, also with lovely staff. The location was perfect for our stay, the town was also great.

The only very, very minor dislike was the selection of tea in the room and at breakfast, I prefer English Breakfast tea which was not available. As I say this was a minor issue and it did not spoil the overall stay for me.

Excellent breakfast and evening meals Very friendly staff. Character property in an excellent location at the pretty village centre. Excellent value for money.

Slight inconveniences: Access by car is restricted, parking is about 300m away. Rooms are comfortable but fairly basic (what you would expect for the price) Twin beds are quite soft. Not for people with mobility issues.

The Coffee and Hot Chocolate was Superb! They prepare eggs to your liken and serve a basket of a variety of yummy breads, raisin sweet bread was our favorite! You have choice of yogurt, cereals, cheese and ham. We ate dinner the first evening and meals were Outstanding! This place is a hidden gem, the staff were all extremely friendly.

The stairs are a little hard to climb, but handrail made you feel secure. I love love the quaint town and convenience of being near Keukenhof Gardens. We thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our stay.

This was a perfect spot to say - one of the nicest we have found on our travels. We were biking to see the flowers. The bike hire is 2 minutes away. When I booked I did not realise they had their own restaurant - excellent food. nice as just 7 rooms so you feel like you are staying in the community. Staff very friendly. Very nice room - had everything we needed - warm. Good breakfast.

Excellent breakfast! Helpful staff. Secure storage for bikes. Lovely location, right on the old town Square. However, this did mean there was some noise at night from local cafes and restaurants. They provided ear plugs for the church bells! Thoughtful touch, which also helped with some of the other noise.

Amazing staff and customer service. Food is consistently very good. Very good value for money.

Breakfast not starting earlier than 08:30 however the takeaway breakfast is really good - so it is not that I didn’t like it but just a note. Staff are always really accommodating with takeaway breakfast and leave it for you to pick up and take with you.

Our room (no 1) was at the back of the hotel and near the air conditioning unit for the kitchen. So if you want an early night you need to bring ear plugs or contend with the noise. The stairs and staircase are very narrow - beware!
