Hotel Roermond

Comfortable, modern, clean with large bathroom having a wetroom type shower. Large bed , firm but comfortable, desk, chairs Coffee machine, safe, Fridge and adequate space for hanging clothes etc. Large TV and aircon/ heating. Room 112 overlooked the square and quiet. Only negative was lack of a drawer in the bedside cabinets. The restaurant was clean, well laid out and the Evening meal very good if a bit pricey. We ate a couple of times there. Before I comment on Breakfast., as I have lived in Holland I am aware what is eaten at this meal. Lastly the Staff. We had nothing negative here as all were very friendly and efficient. One young lady on reception did stand out for us and that was "Gina." she really made us welcome and was professional too. I hope you enjoyed your Spanish Holiday Gina.

Breakfast, Continental was pretty standard with items running out as busy. However, quality was good so can forgive. Unfortunately the Hot Option was not so good. Scrambled eggs both with and without small chopped bacon ham pieces could bounce, very rubbery. Not keen on hard boiled eggs either.

Room Excellent, overlooking Street but quiet and bed bathroom etc very good. Location could not be better 5 minutes from Station in centre of Roermond. Staff excellent, friendly and professional. Breakfast, Very good Continental,but hot options, Scrambled egg with or without chopped bacon and usual hardboiled eggs, Dire. Scrambled eggs like rubber!!

Hot options for Breakfast were terrible as above, rubbery scrambled eggs or Hard Boiled eggs.

Although I was travelling with my own car I find location of the hotel perfect for train travelers. Literally next to train station with cute square in between. Nice restaurant and a very good breakfast choice. Large, comfortable and very clean room. Free of charge underground hotel parking is significantly positive addition to overall positive impression about hotel.

Accommodation was advertised as a suite - in my mind meaning a set of at least two rooms. Ours was one room (plus wc and bathroom) with a seating area. This made it roomy and was very nice - but not a suite! We paid a little more that at other local hotels for the extra size but didn’t get it. So, I feel value for money was a little disappointing.

The property is clean and has fantastic location! Close to the shopping streets , to outlet and to the supermarket! Underground parking is huge bonus. Nice restaurant on the ground floor.

There is no lotion, no conditioner :( the property propose only 2 in 1 (shampoo and shower gel) Not a great option, poor choice.

Our rooms were very good, very comfortable beds, good shower, very clean and well presented. great underground parking facility.

Quite a lot of external noise. my room overlooked the bus station where noisy youths seemed to congregate until the early hours. I understand that this is beyond the control of the hotel but was annoying all the same.

The room was very spacious and clean. Top location. The hotel itself is very easy to find and easy to go to. They have theyre own parking which is amazing. The breakfast was sooo good with also a good number of selection.

Check is at 2pm, we arrived at around 3.30pm but we werent able to come in yet cos the rooms werent ready. They asked us to wait for about 30 mins to prepare it. However they politely explained that they were short staffed that day. They also offered us drinks at their restaurant free of charge so that’s very nice.

I forgot to check out and the staff were very helpful and understanding and packed my things for me so I could collect them and check out later.

There was a reading light which would not turn off. I figured out if I don't put my door card in its slot then I could get it to go off.

The hotel place is to close to the central station. There was electrical kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The room was big enough and so clean.

There weren't slippers in the room. Breakfast could be better. The check in was to late and the check out was to early.

Everything else is as good as was 2-3-4 years ago. The personnel is very friendly, food and drinks in the restaurant are not overpriced and taste good. Room is clean and warm (ever if not at the time of arrival, it gets warm quickly with the air conditioning).

Due to covid the breakfast you can eat only in your room meaning you go down to the restaurant, take the breakfast, go back to your room and eat which is inconvenient. Besides, previously breakfasts were much better (probably they deteriorated due to same reason - covid - and related limitations) - the variety now is weak. Of course the surrounding bars and restaurants are also closed - not much fun around. And as always I don't like how the bathroom is isolated from the main room - sliding door doesn't provide the necessary humidity and sound isolation from the main room.
