Evan the hotel statement was to check the room daily and we arrived around 16:00 daily ...and we asked for new towels from the third day it didn't happen ; the excuse was that we've put the sign ,,Do not disturb !" on the door ; the check-out is till noon and the cleaning till 17:00 (cause we were right next to clean ladies room- by the way...noisy area !!!)so people should organise better🙂. We've stayed 5(five) nights ! I hope for next time ! Overall our rating is very good !

Location was perfect, just a short walk (10-15mins) and your in the heart of Rotterdam. Room was of a generous size, had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. All receptionists were very friendly and very helpful. Local trams and Metro line very close by if needs be. 15 min walk from Rotterdam Centraal Station too. Would recommend and definitely stay here again!

There was nothing I didn't like. Maybe just a new carpet on the landing of floor 2 if you wanted me to be really fussy!

We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. The room is small but everything you need is there. The windows overlooked the courtyard, it was quiet at night. I really liked that the room had a kettle, a set of tea and coffee - for us it was important.

The parking garage, which we were advised at the reception to leave the car for the night, turned out to be 1.5 km away. there were no parking spaces on the street near the hotel and there was nowhere to leave the car.

It's 15 minutes from the Central Station by foot. Staff is really very friendly and helpful. The bed is quite big and comfortable. It's possible to use kitchen stuff, microwave and coffee machine on the ground floor.

Wifi is too slow, sometimes there was not at all. The room needs some kind of re-innovations. Too poor furniture. There was no space for my clothes, just 3 tremplins for 2 people. Bad watering in the shower. I needed 10 minutes to washed my hair.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious and comfortable room. We had to depart very early in the morning and so didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy breakfast. Hotel well located and easily accessible – only a short walk from the centre of Rotterdam – and a variety of nearby shops and restaurants. We were travelling along the route of the River Rhine by bicycle and were able to safely store our bicycles at the hotel.

Walking distance to Rotterdam Centraal rail station and downtown Rotterdam. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby the hotel. Very helpful staff, comfortable bed, good quiet a/c.

Decor is modern but a little tired and needs a refresh (paint walls, replace hallway carpet). Reception closes at 10pm. Baggage storage didn't feel as secure as I'd like.

Hotel Light was our savior. We have come to Rotterdam as students and had troubles with housing. It took a long time until we found a permanent place, so Hotel Light was our home for 2 and a half weeks. Staff was more than helpful when it came to prolonging the stay and during the move our process. We’d like to thank the hotel for making us feel comfortable in the new city and providing a cozy place to stay. When it comes to property itself it has a great location - 15 min walk to great restaurants and Lijnbaan area as well as 2 metro stations. The rooms were as advertised, clean and comfortable. We had a chance to live in 2 different rooms and both were in a great condition.

No objections, except lack of wardrobes in the rooms - it would have been great to have a place to store clothes. However, the hotel is perfect for short stays nevertheless.

When running into issues the staff was helpful and understanding everytime. I got a feeling they really care about their guests. For the price you really get a great value. The bed is super comfortable. Although they stopped serving breakfast due to covid, they did make me delicious coffee when the lounge was open. Great location and cosy but simple interior.

The TV had streaming functionality (netflix, amazon) but wasn’t connected to the internet. If they’d enable streaming it would make our stay even more enjoyable. But it said clearly on the booking.com page that streaming wasn’t included, so it’s not really a bad point. Just a potential point of improvement.

Nice room and bathroom with shower (no bath). Good blackout curtains, and nice big window which could be opened wide to let in fresh air (but see below re mosquitoes)

Nowhere to put clothes - a few hooks, but no wardrobe or cupboards. Couldn't leave windows open over night due to mosquitoes :(

I wanted stay for 3 days more i asked from desk if is possible no answer . I booked more expensive for 2 more days Than I wanted pay for 15 more days I asked from desk guy said that is full . So maybe for 15 more days they should to try I understand that hotel ignore me .... but anyway I recommend that hotel
