Bella Vista Motel & Apartments Christchurch

Very comfortable, apartments had everything we needed, regularly maintained, staff were wonderful and helpful, location was perfect, a short 15 minute walk into the city, central to surrounding areas, spa bath a bonus, a wonderful haven at the end of each conference day.

Minor issues - The laundry opened too late and closed too early. Lots of stairs in the apartment. Electric blanket wasn’t working, no electric blanket for one room.

We booked the 3-bedroom apartment and it was fabulous, Family of 5 we had more than enough room for our overnight stay before we flew back to Australia, the apartment was clean, and super friendly staff 2 blocks away we had Thai for dinner and breakfast at this great little cafe on the corner, food and coffee was good

3 sets of stairs, was a bit hard with the luggage and located on a busy road, apart from that this place is great

the staff is very helpful and professional. The location is closed to city centre, attractions, supermarkets, etc. There's car park at front of the property, thus it's very convenient when we travel by car.

The cleaning services during our stay is not consistency. On the first day, cleaner changed bed sheets and collected all rubbish which is quite impressive. However, the rest of our stay, they didn't do such things anymore.

What a friendly welcome from Emma, very informative of the local area. The accommodation is brilliant. We were only there for overnight, and we should have booked longer but couldn't as too popular. Literally within a 10-minute walk of the city centre and the walk in and out is flat, no hills. We would highly recommend and will be back. Thanks guys x

Emma's friendly greeting. Emma and her willingness to share tips and recommend places to see and do. Free parking and comfortable bed and good facilities for what was needed. That the room is serviced daily if needed. Milk and biscuits on arrival. Size of the fridge. Walking distance to christchurch centre.

Surcharges when paying by card.

The staff were exceptional! In particular the young man who took our bags both up and down the stairs. He was always about ready to assist with where to go and the best way to get there. He happily changed my sim and offered us a drink while we were waiting for our taxi to the airport. He made our stay very enjoyable!

The first room we stayed in - the compact studio was too small.

Very well located at the northern end of the city, so easily walkable into the CBD. Great having parking. Very friendly manager who greeted us upon arrival. Very helpful as well.

The room decor was perhaps a little tired. And it would've been useful to have had a hook or two in the bathroom to hang clothes.

It's a really nice ,clean and friendly motel ! I love how quality hasnt been sacrificed to offer better rates! The Bella Vista is very affordable yet still has the quality feel and the cleanliness of much more expensive motels. The staff are very welcoming and super friendly ,have just returned for my second stay and once again,extended my stay. Great affordable motel that still offers all the things you could ask for from a motel !! Completely perfect

As always with the Bella Vista , check out time!! Always find myself missing this place and the friendly faces of the awesome staff that own and run it.

loved the location, very easy to find, great size rooms for our family. comfortable and very large bed for mum and dad!

the hilarious kitchen sink tap that turned on when pushed down not pulled up. caught us out every time but had a great laugh about it!

Booked the 3 bedroom apartment. Great facilities! Very clean, had all the utensils needed in the apartment. It had Heaps of seating in the lounge and dining rooms. Good soundproofing, great shower pressure and excellent customer service!

One minor critique, the bathroom being up stairs but I suppose it encourages exercise.
