ASURE Central Gold Motel Cromwell

The location is great - right across the road from the mall which made it super easy to get a couple of fantastic meals both nights of our stay (Thai and Mexican). The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was super clean.

We had a room that had a connecting door to the room next door (obviously would be great for families!) but it just meant you could her the people next door quite easily - but certainly wasn't a major issue.

We loved EVERYTHING about this motel. We were met by the owner who when she realised I was unable to walk far popped in her car and collected us from the bus stop. We arrived to a warm sunny unit without stairs!!! It was clean, extremely comfortable, well stocked with all the bells and whistles down to a heated bathroom floor. The shower was great with soap/shampoo attached in an applicator. It turned out we were just five minutes (and I'm extremely slow) from shops and cafes. A perfect location for a perfect motel. We have nothing but praise for our motel owner who put our needs way above hers and we wish her all the very best in the future.

Absolutely Nothing !!!!! Being encouraged to write more again I wish to reiterate this is a clean, warm and well stocked well located motel. After over a month away on a bucket list trip of the South Island we found The Asure Gold Motel the friendliest most helpful motel we have stayed at. Go to Cromwell the jewel of the South and stay here. You won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay Asure Central Gold Motel in Cromwell. Our stay was wonderful from check-in until checkout and this was due to having such great/welcoming owners. I was welcomed by the owner of this property on arrival and she made the check-in so easy as well as making us feel comfortable. Both of our rooms were very clean and everything was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and in Cromwell itself. We had lots of eateries close by, everything was within walking distance which was an added bonus. Would recommend this family-owned business, the story in the book was very wholesome. Wonderful!

I can only comment on the shower head as my partner is quite tall and struggled to fit under it. That is all I can comment on here.

Gaylene and her team work immensely hard to provide luxury accommodation at this motel. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and well provisioned. Car parking was right outside the front door. Very helpful advice given on the old town (Cromwell was a mining town and has the well preserved buildings from the Gold Rush era) and local eateries. We were also given an early check in. Highly recommended

Nothing - everything was perfect.

The units are very spacious and well furnished with good cooking facilities and heat pumps/air conditioning for individual comfort. . The beds are very comfortable, good lighting and an excellent bathroom. The grounds are well kept and the whole complex is very attractive. Our host was very welcoming, providing plenty of information as to amenities in the area. We will definitely stay there again.

There was really nothing to dislike.

helpful staff very clean throughout; quite new motel complex good sized well lit bathroom and good shower pressure, staff offered to store our 2 bikes in their garage

didn't see photo of beds and layout for that particular unit.( family unit with bathroom) heard snoring neighbour from unit next door no outdoor seating for our unit, though other units did have seating and table outside ( we stayed 4 nights) no stove top nor pots/pans, we only a microwave to cook meals quite tight parking. no-where designated for bike storage- (worth considering given future tourists for the new lake Dunstan bike trail)

The location was a quick walk from the supermarket and shopping mall. The welcome was friendly and helpful. The proprietor was happy to stop and talk whenever she saw us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the unit was comfortable and clean.

The unit I had was roomy and nice & quiet, The lady on reception was friendly and very helpful which is always nice to come across when you check-in for the first time!

The only thing really was the carpark was a bit tight for an SUV and I felt a bit mean leaving at 7am as it has quite a loud reversing beeper...!

A great stop off motel, being comfortable, easy to get to with good parking, and a very helpful receptionist. The room had the usual motel refinements such as microwave, coffee plunger, etc. The museum and the old town are definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic location with walking to town. Fantastic two bedroom unit for a family, very comfortable and very well appointed with nice touches. Our family of four loved our stay at the Assure in Cromwell.
