Great location, close to city centre (short 7 min walk), very cozy and super clean. The hosts were also adorable and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We would leave every morning at 7 to hit the mountains and they made sure to leave us some cold breakkie ready to go. On our last day we managed to have breakfast during normal service hours (between 8 and 9:30) before heading to the airport, and dare I say that the eggs Bene with bacon were simply amazing.

I guess my only constructive feedback would be to buy new TVs for the rooms. Not that we have watched any TV during out stay (we would leave super early and simply get back to crash and sleep), however some newer smart TVs would be nice to have just in case (and would not require huge investment). But again, this does not affect at all our experience with them.

The location was a convenient 7 minute walk to town, so close enough you didn't need to drive and far enough you were not in the traffic etc of town. The breakfast was ready made to order and was excellent - a great way to start the day. Everything was very clean and orderly.

The bathroom was a bit small, but that was easily worked around. Parking was free, but could be a bit tight if folks didn't park well. Both these items were small, small, concerns.

Breakfast was incredible and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The family bedroom worked out great for us. The location was walking distance to the downtown area which worked out great as parking downtown is a little challenging.

Everything worked great. No issues to complain of at all. Booking was easy and working with the staff I getting information about Queenstown was fantastic as the staff are very knowledgeable and had great suggestions.

Our hosts Isha & Shashank could not be more welcoming and helpful, it was such a pleasure to find the Chalet Queenstown. Our room was warm and comfortable with many facilities, with fresh bottles of water and milk in a fridge nearby our room for guests. The daily breakfast was excellent with choice of buffet continental included in room rate, and offer of cooked meal with 4 choices (which I enjoyed every morning) with ample supply of fresh coffee or teapot of choice. The welcoming reception and comfortable lounge area was perfect place to keep warm on a cool winter day, till temperatures rose above zero. Loved the Chalet, which was close to and easy walk downtown. Highly commend this property, and sincere thanks to Isha and Shashank for making us so welcome. Balance from China, and Jamie, Auckland

It was a short walk to the centre of town and the view from my room was fabulous. The room was cosy, quiet and comfortable with great heating which was needed with temperatures between 3 and -3 degrees! I chose this location because it was close to my conference venue, it was a great choice. Staff were nice and helpful.

Would have liked a safe but really there was nothing I would complain about.

I liked the room that it was well equipped. The owners were very nice and they were very sweet to get me groceries when I was unwell. There was a lovely view of the mountains and water and it was a 10 minute walk to town centre.

I would've liked more vegan options with their breakfast offerings, and I was in the room above the kitchen so I could smell eggs and bacon, which was very off-putting for me. I also would have liked to see a recycling bin in the room as this property was listed as a 'sustainable property'.

Great position close to town. Really good breakfast in lovely surroundings. The lounge area was modern and appealing, and the outside areas well catered for with tables and chairs front and back. The hosts were so nice and helpful, I would highly recommend a stay there

The room and bathroom were the room and bathroom were smallish, but welll appointed. The local council were relaying the road opposite, but there was no noise as nobody seemed to be working

We were stuck in Queenstown due to a flight cancellation, and were concerned that we wouldn't find any accommodation for the night. Chalet Queenstown thankfully had a spare room, and were very kind in allowing us to leave our luggage with them while both while we waited for the room to be ready and while we waited the next day for our late afternoon flight. They made a difficult situation much less stressful. The room was well-equipped, if a little small. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good value. Very kind and courteous staff.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast. Good location

There are stairs so getting suitcase upstairs was hard but the owners did help us. A little hard to find initially as there are significant roadworks in the area and part of the road is blocked
