Acacia Garden Inn

I really liked the relaxing garden vibes of the place. There is greenery all around making a great atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds and pillows were OK. Bathroom was also clean and amenities provided. Free coffee and tea available at the lobby/restaurant. The staff were great and really helpful in arranging for my island hopping tour. Breakfasts were fantastic, specially the lamayo danggit. They even assisted me in ordering a kilo of frozen lamayo from their supplier to take home. Really good stuff! Finally, I accidentally left a belonging on the room, and they were kind enough to immediately send the item back to me via LBC. Great customer service!

The property is not along the main road but a few minutes walk on a back street, though it can be quickly reached by riding a tricycle from the town center (lots of trikes around that you can hail to get around town). Their breakfast hours are quite short and strict. One day I overslept and could’nt get my breakfast anymore after being late for 5 mins. Wifi can be spotty at times.

Walking distance to the town, bike rental right outside if needed, free coffee/water. Comfy beds, decent size bathroom with good water pressure, we needed our tickets for our ferry printed staff had no problem doing it for us, nice outside area to sit in the sun, we didn’t avail of the breakfast included as we usually don’t eat that early but really good value hotel to also have food included.

Minor thing but a Double bed in the room would have been nice

Complimentary breakfast was all you could ask for. Staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for laundry and first aid and they were very accommodating with our requests. For the money it was really good value, and not far outside Coron town.

The room was clean but there were a couple of stains on the shower mat. The aircon filter was full of flies (probably due to the local island climate) and very rattly and noisy. No need to set an alarm as construction outside started at 8am on the dot Sunday morning!

The property is very convenient, as they also serve sumptuous food at a reasonable price. Complimentary brewed coffee is available anytime at the dining/common area. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They also offer tours and massage, just ask them. Unfinished food can be kept in their kitchen for reheating on your next meal at no additional cost. The owner is very nice and chats with the guest. You can also rent a beach towel to be used outside. Place is safe and only a tricycle/walk away from market, Burgos St. (Food Street). They also offer continental breakfast, and airport transfers for Php250/head oneway. Overall stay was satisfying given the price per night. Would highly recommend!

We asked for a deluxe room meaning at-least 1 bed, but what they provided was 2 twin bed joint together making it quite noisy when you move. But we were able to sleep well and was on tour all day so not big of an issue.

The hotel room was clean and looked new. Great internet. No dead spot anywhere in the hotel since wifi is available in all floors. Breakfast was great and they have their own restaurant, which served really great food. We decided to eat there on our first two nights. Staff was very accommodating. The hotel is not at the city center but if you need to go somewhere, the hotel staff will call a tricycle for you so it wasn’t a problem at all. Definitely will stay here again.

Just a suggestion to put rubber mats on the bathroom floor since it can be slippery and may not be safe for older guests. Almost slipped a couple of times myself.

Stayed 5 nights Location was great. You can walk to the town centre from the hotel. However, the people from my private boat tour picked us up/ and took us back daily. Also even if we didn't have a boat tour, booked our boat people arranged for our pick up and drop offs anytime of the day, the hotel messaged private tricycles (tuktuks) for us.too. Breakfast was great eventhough it was FREE fixed breakfast menu, I swapped my rice / jam to toasted bread and butter. Free unlimited coffee so I looked forward to this after days out.

In this day and age, toilet paper wasn't allowed to be flushed into the toilet! Other hotels we stayed at in the Philippines didn't have this rule.

I liked that the staff were friendly and were always available to help if I needed anything. I loved that breakfast was included and all I needed to do was put my order in for what I wanted the night before. The room was a good size and very clean.

I’m not sure how this could be improved but there were a few mosquitos in the room. The air con was good for helping with this though.

Free breakfast and walking distance from the center and they have a garden from outside you can eat and drink from there.and they will help you or guide you for tour package as well .and pick up and drop off from airport if you want but fyi you pay extra for 250/per pax.

The toilet is not working properly the water nonstop and a bit noisy from outside.

The staff are the best, they're always smiling and happy to assist their guests. From the front door to the kitchen, they are always ready to make sure the guests are being taken care of. The inn itself is gorgeous. With awesome wifi (I was told by locals that this was due to Acacia's location making this place perfect for digital nomads like me), really cool architecture, an in-house restaurant and beautiful natural surroundings, this is the perfect place to stay at whether you plan to be out and about or just chill during your stay.

I'm not sure if there is a water heater. In case it didn't, then they probably have to install them (water gets a bit cold during December). If they do have a heater in the walls, then mine probably wasn't working. That's my only complaint, if any. But it really didn't bother me that much.

Best place for a budget-friendly stay in Coron. The place is well known to the local drivers so it is not hard to go there. Near to Santino's Grill which is one of the famous places to eat in Coron (just walking distance). Also, the practices in the hotel are environmentally friendly.

Make the place a little bit lively. The place tends to be gloomy if you travel alone. I suggest also places plants along the hallway to make it more relaxing.
