Coron Gateway Hotel & Suites

I was impressed by the size of the room. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are spacious and very clean. Furthermore, the room was nicely decorated when we arrived. The location is very good as everything is close by. Also, most of the rooms have a view to the sea, which is always nice. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. WiFi works well.

Although the hotel is "isolated" (last building in the road), there is some traffic in the road next to it, which may become uncomfortable during the night. I also didn't like of falling ill in Coron and missing out on some boat tours, but that had nothing to do with the hotel :)

location is really good, 50 meters from where all the touristic boats leave from island hopping. room and bathroom really big. very friendly staff.very good price for what you get. very good internet

the rooms need some maintenece. you can see that it was an amazing hotel when it was built. now many details need maintenence. there is a tub but after 2 hours it was filled just for 20 cm. but the price for the room is really affordable, probably it would be more than double if the maintenence in the last 5 years was done properly. avoid the rooms in the back since the view is on the roof of the old market

The room was spacious and we had a lot of storage space. It's could use a refurbishment but it's okay for the price.

There are issues with the water pressure and when that happens you need to call reception and wait for someone to go and turn on the water pump. For this reason one morning we couldn't shower because we had a trip booked and there was no water properly running in the shower.

the kindness of people and their disponibility, they change our room because of the wifi that didn’t work in the first room. very kind from them

The location is just steps away from the tour boats, restaurants and grocery stores but most of all the staff are excellent especially the front desk. Very friendly and nice and extremely accomodating. Also our room is huge like a suite. The bathroom is large with extra size soaking tub. Furnitures are real wood and not cheap. Beds are comfy and lots of pillows. It has a safe box and a ref. They also provide slippers which is very surprising. Not even hotels in manila will provide this.

These are minors and just recommendations to make it first class hotel. Although furnitures and flooring are real wood you can see that it already needs some TLC... a little refinishing can command a higher rate. A small patio set in the balcony will also add to the rooms features since it is facing the water. .

Hotel is very nice. Maybe not new but the rooms are so big and comfortable. Location is perfect . All staff very helpful and nice. You can order all trips and rent a motorbike at hotel. Bathroom nice so big and connection door with bedeoom is so nice.. 👍💪

Rooms are huge, hard to find another hotel in Coron town with so big rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. very affordable for what you get

some maintenance have been done not properly, you can see this hotel was designed and made very well with attentions to all details. Now you can see no so much attention to the maintenence, but the price you pay is absolutely worth. If maintenence was done properly, the right price would be 3 times higher

The staff were amazing, really helpful and so kind! We loved the size of the room, it’s huge! The view was very nice as well. The tub is a good plus, especially after a long day of island hopping..

It lacks of cleanliness and the water pressure wasn’t the best..

The best thing about the hotel was the wonderful assistance at the front desk. Jes and Nica were very pleasant and helpful. They arranged tours and transfers for me.

The irregularity of the floors in the room made me very nervous about stubbing my toe

we were so impressed with this hotel. It’s amazing value for your money. Our room was the size of a small apartment, came with towels, dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries including toothbrushes and toothpaste. The staff were extremely helpful, the booked our Airport transfer and also lent us adapters for our entire stay. would really recommend
