my room was not provided with soap and shampoo. it was mentioned when I booked that maximum 3 people stays in the room but I was charged for the third person with us.

The room was clean, and the beds was ok. Nice view of the bay. The staff was very nice. THe restaurant in the ground level was very authentic filipino. Really like the local dishes that was served.

Theres no bar supply, and the room service food compared to the one served in the ground level was a bit disappointing. The location is a bit of walk to manila bay and Mall of asia.

Well-located for travel within Manila for the most part.

More choices for an American Breakfast would have been nice. Looking out the window of our hotel room at the Canal - we witnessed an abundance of trash floating in the water - Not something one would expect to see from a Hotel Window - I don't know what the answer is (because the entire country litters with total disregard), but the issue does need to be addressed. Recommend adding classes in schools throughout the Philippines on "why" it is not good to Litter. Additionally, the Philippine Legislature could introduce a "No Littering Law" and enforce it with a fine.

The hotel location was very accessible to most places. It has free shuttle service to go around the MOA area. However, we did not avail of this service due to heavy traffic in the area during our stay. Places we visited were walking distance from the hotel anyway. The hotel staff were polite, attentive and responsive. Particularly when we requested assistance in calling the attention of some guests staying next to our room who were very noisy during wee hours of the night. Our room was cleaned daily.

Wi-fi connection was very poor. It could not even provide network connection to the 2 gadgets that were allowed to connect to the hotel wi-fi. Breakfast may be improved.

Our room got upgraded to a suite that has microwave, fridge and coffee maker plus a view of the waterfront. Surprisingly, amenities in the bathroom are superb (toothbrush + paste; shaving kit, comb, hair net, bottles of shampoo and conditioner, hand soap); compare this with Microtel Baguio we stayed a few days before which had hand soap, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash in a dispenser attached to the wall and one toothbrush + paste that was USED. Yes, your read it right - it was used as the brush was not in plastic and the toothpaste tube was badly squeezed and almost empty! But, I digress. Microtel Mall Asia should be the standard of Microtel in the Philippines. Keep up the good work!

Not being familiar with caffitaly coffee machine (we use keurig at home), a user guide would have been helpful; had to do an online search to learn how to use the coffee machine

We love the following, - complimentary room upgrade with an excellent view of the Manila bay front directly fronting Mall of Asia - proximity to Mall of Asia, Manila bay, Catholic church, and other attractions in Manila - courteous, friendly, helpful, and cheerful staff (front desk, doormen, cleaning staff) - provided toiletries in the bathroom - large, comfy bed - refrigerator, microwave, & water heater (not all hotels in the Philippines provide these) - safe

We didn’t like the following minor things. - slow draining bathroom sink - faster than expected draining bathtub stop

We liked the location of the hotel as it was very near Mall of Asia and food around. We also liked Millie's, the restaurant within the hotel, The food was great and staff are very friendly and accommodating The staff assigned to clean our rooms was very friendly and accommodating, great customer servicing.

The entire hotel was clean. There was just one thing, the smell (aroma) in the lounge/lobby was very strong. The staff might want to consider to change it.

location is walking distance to Mall of Asia, ikea and S. Maison. hotel is very clean, smells good in the lobby, beds are comfortable. clean room. kudos to the housekeeping staff.

I did not like the view of my room. construction and dirty part of Manila bay. I specifically requested to be place in a room with a Conrad hotel and ferries wheel view, the girl in the front desk said its based on the availability but i saw those couple of rooms empty and being cleaned infront of our room. buffet breakfast is overpriced, not many options. i also asked the front desk if i can order ala carte before we went to the buffer, he said i cant but when we got to the buffet we some people ordering an ala carte. Some food are served cold.

- The location is right beside SMX which I usually go to for big events. It's right across which is convenient. It is also near S Maison, a mall, which makes it strategic if I want to eat or have coffee when I want to go outside really quickly. - Their breakfast buffet is amazing as always. Not my first time booking for Microtel and I always look forward to their breakfast buffet. Their scrambled eggs are a must-try at Millie's. - The room is alright and comfortable. A bit surprised that the air-conditioning, although in circulation by settings and already at the lowest temperature, doesn't distribute the same coldness throughout the room. It's colder at the farther end than the area closest to the air-conditioning. - The staff and guards were very welcoming and very pleasing to talk to. Very customer service-centric.

- I don't recommend ordering food individually when hungry, especially with so much to choose from outside the premises. It's pricey. I highly recommend their breakfast buffet though as it's worth it with the pricing per head. - I'm not sure if it's just me but their elevators aren't well-ventilated. I know there's only a couple of floors but it felt a bit too hot to be inside.

Location was excellent. It's in the middle of the MOA-Manila Las Vegas Complex (all the 6-7 casinos are about 3km to each other. Facilities were fair though older quality. You don't get the excellent grade washroom accessories that you get from higher end hotels but it works fairly well (hot and cold showers are exactly that. - the water runs hot and cold with our touching the control knob). Staff are courteous from the main door staff to luggage reception to check in staff. We were allowed to check in earlier than usual.

Above shower temp control was balky. Elevators were slow and sometimes they stop at every floor (happened twice). That's because the a/c have individual control independent of each other and the 3rd elevator that wasn't working.
