Red Planet Manila Aseana City

Location is good for the airport. Only took 5 minutes to get to the domestic terminal at Manila airport. Room is fine - don't expect the Ritz but it served it's purpose for a night stay.

Traffic noise was still loud even though I was on the 10th floor.

All the staff were so friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and always willing to to whatever they could to make my stay better. Nice clean room, with a very very comfortable bed, which had a nice warm cover. A choice of aircon or a large fan above the bed. The bathroom was a good size, with a spacious shower with a good hot shower. I had a late flight out so I asked for a late checkout, I was charged a little extra so I could book out at 6pm instead of 12pm, perfect, allowing me to have a shower and change of clothes before heading the the airport. The hotel is within easy distance of the airport, shopping malls, along with many places to eat, and coffee shops.

Affordable rates, great customer service (the guards were very helpful with luggage and all sorts of inputs, they lent me an umbrella when I needed one), wifi was fast and reliable, perfectly located near shops, restaurants, malls, churches, casinos, and the airport, and airconditioning was quiet and effective.

Some tiles in the shower had water trapped underneath so that they sounded squishy when stepped on (Room 305). The area near the elevator in third floor was a bit dusty. The room was not as soundproof as in other Red Planets I've stayed at, I could hear the TV through the walls. Only one elevator was working during my stay, which made for a longer than usual wait for the elevator.

Location - near the airport, POEA and MOA. They're quick to respond to requests through their app. Transportation can also be arranged through them instead of hailing your own taxi as I realised that taxis do not use meters and are charging more.

Price is relatively cheaper as they do not provide some basic necessities such slippers, toothbrush, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Unfortunately, they ran out of slippers when we arrived. They said we can buy them from the nearby 7/11. But the store doesn't have them as well. It was available the following day though. We still bought them for PHP 25 for each pair for the last night of our stay. I also hope that there's a water heater (for coffee) in the room so we don't need to request every time we need them.

Checking in and out was a breeze. Spacious for a value hotel, toilet is clean and neat, minimalist feel. aircon temperature is not centralised so you can control, huge ceiling fan helps cool the room faster. Water temperature is adjustable and pressure is good. Blackout curtains and 2 universal wall sockets for ease of use but do note that there is no usb sockets. Very convenient location and is very near NAIA (approximately 9mins to 10mins normal traffic and via skyway). Please note that there is a small toll fee for the use of skyway. Bonus: tv and hairdryer.

No cabinets and drawers, open wardrobe too small, no kettle, aircon leaking, lobby smells like sewage in the afternoon.

Excellent wifi, excellent location, close to airport, casinos, all types of entertainment and fast food outlets. The staff are friendly and accommodating and helpful. The room rates are now reasonable compared to pre-covid times, represents good value for money. Rooms and facilities are minimalist but the price reflects that. Beds comfortable. Showers superb.

Pillows are too soft and flatten easily, soap dispensers are breaking down, Power outlets becoming dodgy and feel loose.

For me I only eat one time for breakfast well I am American also I do not eat greasy fatty foods. The one egg was not cooked enough, toast was very hard and sausage and I think bacon was full of grease. So I just started eating egg until I realized it was not cooked and ate one piece of toast and so hard. I just paid the bill and left. So never went back to eat in hotel restaurant. I will return not sure I will try to eat there again.

The staffs especially the security guards are always friendly and helpful. Booking transportation with the hotel is quick and easy. Saved me from not having to deal with some dishonest manila taxi drivers. Restaurants, bank and convenience stores beside hotel. Close to airport and mall of asia. Very basic small rooms but always clean. Quick checking in and out.

Had problems with the WiFi inside the room. Very weak signal and near the door only. Once you move to bed WiFi is gone. Can be difficult to get a taxi at night.

Well first it's accessible you got all you need around the area. After red planet there's restaurant and 7-11 after that there's BPI bank with machines of course that accepts intnl.cards and another convinience store and Jollibee etc. It's near MOA it's also near in other Hotels & Casino's and the staff are very accommodating.

Well may be they can improved by putting some cup and hotpot inside the room and a small fridge. But bcoz the price of rooms are very cheap you get what you pay for. May be just improved what I said above.

Very close to the airport terminals. Very clean. Great size bathroom and shower given the size of the place. Bed is very comfortable, room can be nice and dark when needed. Room is small, but we didn't care as we just used it for a 1 night of sleep before flying. Walking distance to major shopping area and the waterfront. Right next to 7/11.

Google maps keeps trying to send you to the back of the building instead of the front. No breakfast, but we knew that already!
