Kav's Beach Resort

Everything went well so far. During the day of our check out, we need to get up early for our Apo Island tour and notify them the night before that we will be out before the time of check out and ask their staff to just put our luggages somewhere safe upon our return and they did. And we also ask them if we could still use their restroom to bathe since we came from tour and they allowed us. thanks to them we had a nice stay so far.

What I just don't like when we got there its just that I'm willing to pay for additional fee for early check in since there is no one occupying our room when we arrive, but the lady at the reception office insisted we have to wait for the check in time. which we did, so we just stayed at their resto area until its 2pm. I think we waited for 4 hours at most.

The rooms are clean and good size. There is a minibar in the room and snacks are available. The food in the restaurant is very good. I can recommend the Chili Con Carne. They have some nice beers on draft. The pool is very nice. At night it is very quiet. The resort is very nice and clean and had a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful organizing diving trips to Apo Island.

Loud airco in the room, also the fridge. Tried to sleep with the airco off, but it gets hot and humid very fast.

The rooms are great! They're clean and spacious. Our room had a bathtub, free water and coffee, and the air conditioning installed was relatively new.

There were a lot of dishes on their menu that wasn't available, so that was a bummer. It would have been great if they stocked up their kitchen because it's a hassle to have to go out of the resort to find a good restaurant. Customers stay at a resort to relax, so having a great restaurant within the resort helps keep the stress away.

The resort is well set out and maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool area over looking the beach was glorious. Food was excellent, good menu choices, well cooked with fresh ingredients.

There are only four parking bays which can be difficult when resort is busy. Although there is easy access parking round the corner.

Staff members were professional and very courteous and attentive. Manager Renial and his staff Rhea, Jovie, Mary Jane, Arjane and pool guy Michael were all great. The swimming pool was cleaned daily and very well maintained. Room and the overall compound cleanliness is very good . Surprisingly, the TV channels in the room are great with many movie and news options. Wifi signal is great too.

The restaurant is great but some items in the menu was not available. However, due to very low occupancy , I understand the situation and challenges the restaurant might be going through. Quality of the food is good. Other than the restaurant at site , there are no restaurants or food establishments nearby. However there are other resorts within 5 to 10 km away as an alternative. Booking.com , does not have a current property phone number listed. Something the property should be addressing, in my opinion.

It was a beautiful beach setting. The room itself was on the small side, but was clean and had all the amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was good.

They were very particular about bringing in outside food and snacks which was slightly annoying.

Kav's is very comfortable with helpful staff. This hotel is meticulously maintained. Beanbags on the beach to watch sunset are a must. Food was good with reasonable prices. Snorkeling off the beach. This is a great place to relax!

It was far from our dive center, so we spent a lot of money on transport each day.

The grounds and location were great. Staff w as extremely helpful and pleasant. The room itself was clean and maintained.

The room could use a little update but nothing major was problematic for us.

we like every thing about Kavs, friendly staff, clean and not noisy apart from the occasional disrespectful guests. Food is really good. Overall a nice quiet small resort. Special thanks to the staff for taking good care of us.

The swimming pool was large, clean, refreshing and so beautiful at night. The restaurant/bar was convenient and the food was outstanding.
